Got it on a whim due to its name and
When I was looking for a styling gel I found this product - not a styling gel but the name was so original I had to try it. My hair has never been better. It is easier to maintain without the frizz it used to have and it feels so slick and smooth and I use so LITTLE of the product.. it will be often used and last a long time.. I am grateful for the name - who knew hair needed/wanted food.. great name.. super product. I bought it because of the name - I seldom if ever do that but this time I did and I am not disappointed.

Hair food is thick
I purchased this because it contains vitamin E and the hair food I usually purchased was not available. This is hair food is very thick and heavy. If reminds me of lard, but heavier. If I was wearing braids, this may be okay because I prefer a heavier oil when wearing braids. I don't see any growth, but I have not used the entire jar.
