Simple to read and understand; perfect for the novice decorator. Plenty of pictures and instructions. I would give it 5 stars except that the recipes are not given by weight, which is how I learned to bake. Love the fondant recipe!

I gave this as a gift and I noticed there was nice info and instruction. The person I gave it to loved it but later after she was at home she started reading through and she said that it was really nice the way it gave instructions because she said that she was for sure a beginner.

I bought this book for my daughter that wants to teach herself how to decorate cakes. Of course I had to check it out before wrapping it for Christmas. It is pretty amazing. I may even have to borrow it and see if I am smart enough to follow the directions on how to make the flowers. Lol

My granddaughter wanted to learn how to decorate the cakes we make together, and after reading this book and buying the right tools, she has become a real pro! I was initially worried that maybe it would be too hard for a kid to follow, but she had no problems with it at all, and her decorating skills have become quite impressive! Highly recommend!
