Great pedals, that work better than what came with the bike.
Honestly, I think it's rare that a product just ... works. My wife bought a bike. I had to put it together. Solidly a piece of junk. So now I'm slowly working my way through it, just to at least get it serviceable. The pedals that came with it were ... junk. These, on the other hand, work like a charm. Also, I want to clarify some of the things said here. The pedals come with adapters for 9/16" and 1/2" threads. You don't add the 9/16" to the 1/2". It's one or the other. The reason why this is important, is that if the 9/16" adapter screwed on the the 1/2" pedals, they'd stick out further than usual. Not so. You screw in *either* the 9/16" *or* the 1/2" piece to each pedal. Anyway, the main reason why I like these is that the screw shaft that screws into the crank hole, is longer than the ones I got with the bike. So these screw in further, and feel a heckuva lot more secure. Very pleased. These are great pedals. Don't let the low price worry you.

Super easy to install and work great!
[UPDATE] I have replaced these pedals today at 7124 miles on the odometer, which means they have lasted 1325 miles on my exercise bike. They were getting a bit crunchy, with a slight knock. While the issue wasn't severe yet, I decided to go ahead and replace them rather than wait for them to completely fail. I would estimate that I could have gotten hundreds of more miles out of them, maybe even another thousand, but the experience would not be nice. Regardless, these pedals were still a good value and I recommend them. [ORIGINAL REVIEW] I installed these pedals on an Exerpeutic brand exercise bicycle with the 9/16" adaptors. There were no issues at all with the installation. I used a 5/8" wrench and a pair of channel lock pliers. The pedals work great. The bike had 5799 miles on it at the time of installation. I will update this review, as needed, to report on durability and longevity of the pedals. For now, I recommend them as a great value!

Easy to use to replace pedals. Just make sure you have R and L adaptor matching their R & L Pedal
Works very well and like that it had the two size adapters for 1/2" and 9/16" thread size. The adapters are well made and just follow the directions to have them properly installed on each of the pedals. Make sure you match the "R" adapter to your "R" pedal (they are both marked) and the "L" adapter to the "L" pedal. You will need to make sure the adapters are fully screwed in tight on each of the pedals. You will need basically two wrenches to do this. Also each of the threaded end of the adapter is blue thread locker on it. So that helps to make sure once its tighten on the pedal it should not come loose. Then screw the pedals to the bike, right pedal to the right side and the left pedal to the left side. Keep in mine that the left side has reverse thread so its the opposite of the rhyme for tightening. (i.e. for right side pedal its "rightie tightie (clockwise), leftie loosee (counterclockwise)", so the left pedal is just the opposite. Overall the pedals are well made and good quality to replace old or broken pedals.

Sturdy
Bought three bikes for my kids and the pedals broke within a week, bought these haven't had any issues in the months since. Perfect typical bike pedals

Good platform pedals, until the unthreading started...
Very lightweight aluminum-alloy pedals. Pedals terminate in a female thread...and they supply two sets of 'mating plugs', to 1/2" or 9/16", whichever you require. Just make sure to use locktite to affix the adapter into the end of the pedal before you install it. Well made, and feel very solid! Far better than plastic pedals! *** UPDATE at 1-week *** Ok, after only 1-week...MAYBE 35-miles on them...BOTH pedals FELL OFF! Plenty of locktite, torqued with a spanner wrench so hard I thought the threads were going to strip out...and the strangest thing, they didn't come out of the cranks, the pedals unthreaded from the 9/16" adapter (the pedals are a fine machine thread, and you get two sets of adapters, 1/2" and 9/16")...with locktite and heavy torque, they STILL unthreaded out of the adapter after only a week. Removing 2-stars for this...

This is a misunderstood product. It is actually awesome.
I bike nearly every day and my ride is nothing fancy. My bike sits outside near the ocean every day and night. Once in a while I will break a pedal and inevitably I'll order a 5/8" when I need 1/2". Not anymore. This product is both! I essentially can repair a pedal on mine or my wife's (mine is 1/2 and hers is 5/8) at a moment's notice. I think the issue that many reviewers are having is that they don't know that the left side pedal is reverse threaded and that there are TWO diameters. My guess is that they are trying to put the wrong diameter on the wrong thread - one of 3 possible negative outcomes. I have been using one of these on the right side with the 1/2" adapter for a month now and it doesn't get loose, threads were fine, etc. The included lock-tite clinches it for me. This is a great product at an awesome price, albeit misunderstood,

The pedals were as described and were easy to install. They were used to replace a bent pedal on my grandson's bike. No issues so far and durability is yet to be determined.

These are great pedals for beginners or kids. The adapter to make it universal is key because so many people don’t know the size of their pedals. I would recommend this product any day.

Compré estos pedales por que me parecieron los mas durables y resistentes y no me han decepcionado. el diseño de 1 pieza los hace muy robustos. Incluyen adaptadores para diferente medidas de tornillo de fijación. Un excelente producto en mi opinion.

These are cheap and relatively easy to install, they are made of plastic and tend to get broken off the bike if dropped on it's side but as cost is low to replace, worth it for sure
