Great item! Except for FM
New toy for the garage with high expectations here.Bluetooth connected to my phone easily, how the Pyle was controlled by BT I did not really need to know because I was more interested in other functions. The USB flash drive was recognized and music was heard at comfortable to a 'conversation impossible to another person' levels. The FM radio gave me a headache. I have an older Pyle 5 channel amplifier receiver with FM I wanted to upgrade because it has no SD or USB port for various other media. I let the new one scan for radio stations, There are well more than 40 near and far away in miles, and it settled on the strongest for 22 presets. Sound was good, clear and static free. Some stations actually were received without any antenna connected as I changed from the included wire antenna and changed to my outdoor radio antenna. The headache came when I discovered two of my favorite stations were not selected by the Pyle as presets and I could not make the radio select one or the other. Why?, you might ask. Because unlike my older unit it has no manual way of tuning in the signal you might want to listen to.The lack of that feature caused me to return what could have been a nice upgrade to an existing setup.

Inexpesive, and easy to use Sound Blaster!
I have installed this in our conference room and it went perfectly well. I have attached 4 big ceiling mounted speaker and though im skeptic it would work, guess what? it worked! Put it in full blast and it is loud, not as super loud as expensive equipment we have right now. But still, this device can compete and provide you better quality without.I like the fact it is also an MP3 player. But you need to make sure the external storage (USB or SDCARD) is formated as FAT/FAT32 system. It cannot read NTFS (I never tried the Mac version file system). If in doubt, just use the FAT32 file system to store your musics.I have also used RCA connection with my old DVD player and microphone system, as usual, it worked pretty well.. it boost the sound significantly. As of this writing, I have just connected by phone via BT, I went outside and it's still picking up my BT signal.. Just so you know, you need to put MODE to "BLUE" for you to be able to see PYLE in your phone.. Took me awhile to realize that LOLThis is really amazing because there are lots of thing you could use with this device. Im glad I have this with me, small yet powerful device ready for upcoming party!!!Wishlish for this model;(for cosmetic) I wish they move all connectivity (input and output) at the back.. I hate seeing wires at front.. again, just my preference

would work for what i need if not for the issues
start with the fm mode, the book indicates the remote buttons CH- and CH+ to select stations, ..does not change the stations, the only way i could get the stations to change was by entering them manually on the remote with the number buttons, and none of the buttons on the unit seem to operate this function either.if using the volume control from the remote, once the unit is turned off then back on, it starts at full volume.when the unit is turned off there's a "click/pop" that comes through the speakersusb seems to work okay, if you want to go through songs 1by1, it won't go to individual folders.haven't tried the bluetooth or sd slot yet so i do not know as to their functionality.if none of these issues are similar in other reviews, perhaps a received a faulty unit

Very nice simple receiver/amplifier
I just setup this little amplifier with some spare speakers I had in my home office. Sound quality is really good for something this small. It is surprisingly heavy for such a small amplifier, but there is a good deal of metal heat sinks and the metal enclosure is nice and seems very rugged. With these speakers I have not had it past 30% volume as I think I would blow the speakers.I do have a couple items to note.1) While it does have two AUX inputs (front and rear) you cannot switch between them. Anytime something is plugged into the front AUX/CD IN 1/8" jack it will override the rear AUX RCA inputs. So you cannot leave anything plugged in front if you want to use the rear inputs.2) The blue LED level indicators are REALLY bright. I have this in an office and it is definitely distracting. This is nothing that a paint pen or piece of black tape cannot solve.3) Lastly the BT connection did not want to connect after pairing. I had to power cycle the receiver after pairing and then it connected fine.Bottom line: I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a small basic audio amplifier. I would not expect studio quality sound, but this has a very good sound for the price and size. If my 30 year old receiver in my garage ever stops working I would pick another one of these up.

Nice Sounding Multi-Function Amp with BT
- Attractive, - Nicely built, - Sounds goodThis nice little BT Amp is similar to an older Pyle Amp (PTAU45) I've used happily for 5+ years. This unit adds Bluetooth input as well as an FM receiver, USB input and a remote control. Of course it has standard stereo input and rca input also. It came securely and neatly packaged and very clean. It has a thick black metal housing and all the controls feel substantial. It works fine right out of the box and the sound is quite good, especially at this price point. It's plenty loud and will work nicely to provide sound outside in the yard when the weather is nice. )
