Q: Should you pop the poison ivy blisters then use the scrub to wash out the fluid?

No, you should not pop the blisters. The instructions say that you should gently scrub for 15 seconds, being careful to not break the skin. The reason behind this is that 1) the oil in poison ivy/oak/sumac that causes the rash is on the top layer of the skin, unless you break the skin via a scrape or a popped blister. Then the oil can penetrate deeper and cause more painful damage. Since this wash is meant to remove the stubborn oil of these plants, washing the surface gently should be plenty enough to be effective. 2) Opening a blister purposefully is never a good idea. That layer of fluid is there to protect your skin from worse injury and from infection. Once a blister is opened, it is significantly more likely to get infected. That risk become even higher when it's a blister that itches, because the constant touching of scratching the itch is bringing germs to the site of the rash, which now has an open wound. Open wounds and germs don't make good friends. I hope this helped! :)

Q: Can I use it for tinea versicolor?

This is a great question. Our understanding is that tinea versicolor is a skin ailment in which antifungal treatments are sometimes used. We recommend checking with your doctor or a pharmacist. Show him or her this product's ingredients and ask for their guidance.

Q: Does this work to get skunk spray smell off dogs?

Not sure about getting smell of pet. Is recommended and works to get poison oak or poison ivy oil out of your skin to help stop the itching it is a scrub. For skunk smells I have heard rinse pet with tomato juice to get rid of odor

Yes. It will help the blister to dry up and heal .
