it's beautiful and the size is just perfect but it has a very small hole and I am not sure if it effects the sound of it. I am a yoga instructor and the one that I usually use is bigger and sounds better. This one is quieter. I guess size really matters. other than that it looks beautiful not exacly like the picture ( color is not black as the picture but more like brownish) I like the box and the card which explains the meaning of (om mane padme hum). I really liked it but because of the little hole I might return it.

I have been wanting a singing bowl for as long as I can remember. I finally committed. I read the reviews and some complaints about the paper box being bent or damaged almost made me choose another vendor. Please do not let the bent paper box comments dissuade you. I received the most wonderful email from the vendor upon making my order in which they extensively stated how pleased they would be to exchange my box, bowl, etc. if I was not 100% pleased. The bowl arrived and I have to tell you, it is beyond what I could have expected. It is special and unique. The craftsmanship and quality are more than I expected. The sound is so soothing and I was able to make it sing. In regards to my paper box, yes it is a little bit dented on one corner. Will I be asking for an exchange? Absolutely not. The "damage" on the box is simply the testament of the long journey this bowl made to get to me. It is the dent on the box that makes it that much more special. So while others may see the dent as a bad thing, I am grateful for it and think it makes my order that much more unique and meant for me. Thank you to the vendor for going above and beyond in customer service!

I was looking for my first signing bowl & this one looked nice and at a good price. I received the bowl which is beautiful & in a nice paper box. The bowl & box is so special I decided to give it as a gift & get me another one. I see it as a great conversation piece as well as it's practical use for mediation. I had some questions about the box, since it appeared a little worn inside, so I reached out to the seller. Joana was super nice, explained how that happens during the long shipping process & offered to send me another box. Since I was giving it as a gift I took her up on it. Had I been keeping it for myself I would have not bothered. I was so pleased with the experience I asked to get on their mailing list to see what other cool stuff they may have.I've attached a pic of the bowl.

I bought this bowl as a gift for Christmas and I'm looking forward to presenting it. The singing bowl looks beautiful and exactly as on the picture. Everything comes in a red crafted box as a set, nicely packed and ready for a great gift. The picture on the bowl is clear, the sound is beautiful (but I'm not a pro in it). Instructions come with the set, that is helpful for someone like me. Joana is a great person and very helpful. I had a couple of questions before the bowl was delivered and she always responded super fast even in the late evening and was very helpful. She followed up with me when I received the bowl and made sure that I got the complete set. I definitely recommend buying from her, it was a 5 star experience.

Beautiful sound once you get how it works. Pretty hard for a beginner like me to figure it out. Took a lot of practice, but now I very much enjoy itA little addicting :)

I got two of the singing bowls so we can make great sounds in more than one room. The packaging is wonderful. The bowl itself is of excellent quality and makes a marvelous sound. My partner who suffered a brain injury a few years ago is quite taken with it. I've put one over by the piano so now she plays some keys and then the bowl, quite melodious. Very tuneful. I highly recommend the singing bowl. It's great fun and brings pleasure to the ear and the heart.

What a great item! I bought it for several reasons: (1) for the fun of it because I've never had one; (2) because it's so beautiful; even just as a work of art alone, it's a good buy; and (3) I wanted to find something for me that's soothing. This has met all my expectations. It's melodic, aesthetic and very soothing. I also bought one for my sister in Miami and she loves it too. She suggested we play duets sometime! :-)
