Our fountain pump had to be be cleaned and reset every two days. This is fine enough mesh that water gets in, but debris and dirt does not so that neither the pump nor the fountain piping are impaired. No problems for almost ten days since we installed it! We had tried others, but the mesh was too big and it allowed debris to clog the line.

The media could not be loaded.  This was a game changer for our little fountain! Our fountain would bog down every day multiple times a day with leaves and debris, so I bought the smallest cover they had- could have been smaller actually- but, even so it fit into the space and has worked great and our fountain is back to being robust and beautiful :) we love it!

Overall the bag works well for my fountain pump. I wish that someone sold a bag with at least a hook and loop opening on one of the bag's side's adjacent to the zippered opening. Many fountain pumps have a power cord at 90 degrees to the discharge hose. This makes a single zippered side inadequate. I had to cut a hole in one side to get the discharge hose through. It works well after this minor modification.

Used this to cover a 500GPH fountain pump from leaves and debris. It is made of meshed nylon with a zipper that puts in either direction. For my pump, it was a tight fit, but it worked. The mesh does not impede the pump in getting adequate water, and after a week of continuous pumping, I'm quite happy. Our last bag lasted one year in our Texas weather, so I am curious to see how long this bag will survive without damage. In any case, it is an excellent solution for the price, and I'm happy with the purchase. Will buy a second bag as a backup.

I was looking for a way to reduce the impact of bird poop in our feeder on our TotalPond Submersible Fountain Pump MD11300. This bag is almost the perfect solution. The pump volume is no longer reduced due to the debris in the fountain, and it definitely draws the same amount of water as before. I ordered two more Active Aqua Submersible filter bags - I'm going to remove the zippers and replace the closing with velcro to minimize the gaps around the tube and the cord. I figure that if I have two bags, that I can plan to have one in the wash when needed. Very glad that I found this product.

Ok, this is a simple product for keeping debris out of your pump. In my case I have a water fountain that gets a lot of debris from the surrounding trees and bushes. I just put the small pump in this bag, zipped it up and job done. Mesh is fine enough to keep out even small particles without restricting water flow. Good size to fit the pump easily but not be too big and take up a lot of space in the fountain. We will see how long the materials last but it seemed reasonably constructed for what is supposed to be a cheap mesh bag.

This is made really well and nothing gets through the mesh. The only issues I have with it are, 1. That it isn't black...all outdoor ponds are black and this stands out like a sore thumb, 2. I wish the closure was something more than just a zipper. Tubes from the pump have to come out of the bag and the zipper can't get tight enough around the tubes to keep out all of the debris in the water. It does keep out most of it! But it would be nice if it kept out all the smaller stuff too.

We got a new fountain water feature that stopped working almost immediately and wouldn't run. We purchased this filter bag and haven't had a problem since! Great product.

Pump bag seems good so far. Zippers came off of pump bag and caused issues. Just installed system so can't provide details on longevity of pump bag. Delivered fast and seems to be of good quality with exception of zipper. Tie wrap zipper together to prevent them from opening undesirably. Rest seems like good quality. Filter mesh is fine and provides high flow.

Handy ... very well made - not cheap
