We got our rescue dog 3 weeks ago and he is still very nervous of everything and everyone, but he let me do all of his front paws with this grinder and it took less than 5 mins. His nails had clearly not been trimmed for a very long time so I had to use it for a longer time than normal on each paw I'd say and although he half heartedly tried to get away at first, once I re-assured him it was okay, he was absolutely fine and let me do all his toes. Charged up quickly as well. We didn't even bother trying a conventional nail clipper on him because I knew it would scare him and I've also seen too many articles and things about it being painful for dogs if you clip too much off, and seeing as I'm not a professional groomer or vet, I didn't want to risk hurting him. Highly recommend for home nail grooming :)

I dont often leave reviews but I need to say these are brilliant. I had a heart attack recently & although my German shepherd was still taken out for walks by the children she went on less walks and it noticed! So with my daughters friends help sitting there bribing her with treats while I filed her nails down a pack and a half of treats later & her nails were almost perfect only almost because she was doing these silly moves lifting her feet up and down like she was marching :) & nipping me & licking my face I ended up laying sideways at one point hahaha!! but honestly they're brilliant not cheapo at all well worth the money just make sure you get extra of the little file stones ok because if you've got a big dog it takes a little longer and iv not had to change it yet but I'm glad I have spare because I could tell it was still working great but obviously it was wearing down slightly. I'm well impressed with this so even though it was a bit of a mission getting Aurora to stay still it worked!! I'm so stupidly happy about it and also I know its worked because I can barely hear her nails at all on the floor as she walks.. this is a real review if you don't believe me mesege me if it shows the number & il show you my dog hahaha 07..4..94...00..4...3..49

Good product, easy to use. Not completely silent, but quiet enough, unfortunately my dogs just won't tolerate it on their nails. My mum uses it for her dog no issues.

Would I recommend this?? Probably not. It’s tricky to get your dogs nail into the file & even though it’s fairly quiet, our dogs hated the vibrations. Also, it barely took anything off of our dogs nail (Bassett hound). Waste of money, back to the vets to get it done professionally.

I normally never write reviews, but I had to here, as I was quite impressed by the product.I own a chihuahua. People who know this breed will know that they can become quite nervous just about anything. My dog absolutely hated nail clipping. It made her extremely nervous and as soon as she saw nail clippers she would disappear out of sight. So I decided to give this grinder a go, although I was not too optimistic about it at all, knowing my 11 year old dog. And what a difference it has made to her!!To start off I equipped myself with lots of treats and turned the grinder on next to her to see if she would notice the sound (quite a low sounding grinder) she didn’t care much about it. Then the grooming commenced... She was nervous at first, I think we both were, because she just can’t stand any nail related grooming and you have to find the right angle to use this grinder correctly, and when you do, it is just a breeze to use! The first 10 minutes my dog was just a little nervous, but as it went on and the treats flown like a river, she stoped caring about it completely by the end, she started yawning!!. I was able to finish her nails in about 30 mins which is not quick, but given it was our first time with trial and error and I spent about half of that time on her first paw, the rest were much quicker. I am sure it will be a quicker grooming session next time.Her nails never looked so well manicured before. Nicely rounded :-) I should have tried it earlier!

Fast delivery, nice and quiet our dogs did not mind it at all. Took a 2-4 seconds on each nail and went round the 4 paws and then started again from 1st paw with a few seconds on each nail, seems to do the trick as neither of us got stressed and the nails got shorter, which was the main reason for buying it in the first place :)Yep I would recommend but just be aware that if your dogs have long nails it will take a while to get them as short as you need them to be as it is more of a nail filing than nail grinding - but I am happy!

Lovely and quiet, use it on my greyhounds claws - slightly noisier when grinding their nail, but it doesn't bother them. As they have black claws, its ideal as I just stop start to make sure I'm not taking too much off, so no risk of a bleeding claw. Price wise it's already paid for itself, as saved me paying a dog groomer to do their nails. Great if you want to gradually and safely reduce nail length, as can use it every few days.

Excellent product! Battery life is great and it seems to do the job. Take longer than expected to grind each nail which in turn makes my dog really nervous. So far I've managed 2 over 4 days! Haha.
