Comparing the filters I received in the past from Hario USA, these ones don't seem any different.I personally use these filters on a Hario Switch 03, in which I pour 327g of 210F water in FIRST, then 18g of coffee grounds (18 clicks on a Comandante C40 MK3), making sure to lightly rake or poke the floating grounds with a spoon to make sure they are somewhat saturated. After 2 minutes, stir the floating grounds so that they start to sink and shake the Hario Switch to create a level coffee bed as the grounds float to the bottom of the dripper. Flip the "Switch" at 2 minutes 30 seconds. Coffee should be done by 3 minutes.If iced coffee, substitute 100g of the hot water used for brewing for 100g of ice for the brewed coffee to be poured onto instead. 4 minutes of brewing instead of 2 minutes. Top off with 80g of ice to serve.

These seem more delicate than they used to be but they do the job, just don’t crease them too hard them you fold down the edge or they might spring a leak.
