I’m a small independent cabinet maker and I use this for sanding and often for stone anchors and it works perfectly. Great to bring on site in someone’s home, small and very portable for sometimes you just don’t need the festool. THIS IS NOT a SHOP VAC, it’s a dust extractor, there is a difference. I use a 6 amp hour battery on it and it lasts plenty long for what I use it for. I only wish the hose was detachable, it is fixed and so you can’t add a longer hose other then that I have zero complaints. I have not been able to get ahold of the attachment for my sds, so I cant speak to it's true intended use, but this is so nice to have when sanding a wall. Dewalt is a little stingy in not including the dwv9000 adaptor, but they are $10 so I can't complain too much. The canister fills very quickly. You would almost be dumping after every cut. This could have been a great addition to my dust collection items. I think a dust buster has more suction. I bought this to use with the DeWalt 20v cut off saw. Mainly to cut out tile around toilet flanges to make plumbing repairs. The vacuum does not even come close to having enough power. I have the vacuum that attaches to SDS drills and it works fantastic. I have a HEPA DeWalt shop vacuum for the jackhammer and it works great.
