I wanted a decent sized keepsake box after our wedding so that I could keep not only all of our cards, but also our little guestbook (~10”L x 7.5”W) and our random things like our cake topper. This box was perfect for that!!! It fits all of that with plenty of room for more things if need be.It seems bigger in person, is a pretty light blue/grey color, and is fairly sturdy. The top came a little cracked but it’s not a big deal.THE CAVEAT: ASSEMBLYOk the assembly is really pretty simple, but not exactly straightforward. And unless I just completely missed instruction somewhere (likely) I didn’t have any. So some tips:1) one of the front and back pieces is taller than the other (I was too impatient and didn’t notice and had to redo everything bc I wasn’t paying attention and assumed they were all the same). Put the taller sided one in the back. The side pieces also have one corner of taller pieces with holes on the end. Put those corners at the top back.2) the little clear rings are genius. I was so confused as to their purpose until the box started to kinda fall apart... then I realized... they go on all of the “LEGO” pieces to keep it all together... smart. And you can’t see them. They also keep this thing together really well (I know from experience of having to start over)3) the most important thing you need to know... if you want the gold accent of the lock... prepare for frustration. This thing comes with the TINIEST SCREWS IVE EVER SEEN. I spent a full five minutes on EACH stupid little screw because I could barely grasp them... and then was “screwing” them in with the little keys that came it bc it was the smallest thing I had. Once I was finally done I realized that I was the victim of impatience yet again bc I put the stupid thing on backwards... (a full glass of wine was consumed in this process)... I was about to just ignore it bc I was so frustrated, but somehow complaining to my husband actually paid off and he had just bought a reading glasses repair kit with the tiniest screwdriver. So I gave it a shot with that and WOW that was so much easier.Summary: this thing is big, sturdy, and pretty, but if you want to save some frustration with assembly, buy a glasses repair kit!!I thought about only giving this four stars bc of the cracks and the stupid screws, but this really was better than expected and worth the money!If this helps, please vote as helpful :)

My first box would not assemble. The wood tabs were bigger than the slots. And the holes in the metal latch would not line up with the holes in the wood. They did provide a quick replacement and the second did assemble but NOT the hardware. The holes in the wood still did not align with the hardware. I don’t care about the lock, so letting it go. But heads up. Also, the box is made from a medium thin plywood, so a bit on the flexible, almost flimsy side. Not too bad, but also not super sturdy.

Wow, what a shoddy piece of junk. C was broken. Lock doesn’t work. Stains all over, including black stains. Had to reorder something else and pay 50 dollars in shipping to get in here in time. Do better. 25 dollars for cardboard? Ugh. Totally disgusted.Thank goodness Amazon has great customer service for such crappy vendors .

This looks really pretty when out together. We used it for my daughters graduation party and it was perfect. A little thin and if not put together gently you could possibly break it but if you are careful it looks very pretty and gets the job done.

The packaging was great. The box pieces were in perfect condition. The only trouble I had was putting it together. The tabs and the slots were a really tight fit. I was able to finish the assembly without breaking anything, but it was touch and go.

Great card box to deter theft. Can't speak to how it holds up when full because corona canceled our wedding before we could use it. Would recommend.

Cute sturdy and versatile. Only problem is we ordered it in gold and it came in gray. We had to spray it but it was beautiful.

Don't buy this!!! Mine was cracked and very poorly made. Not good instructions for assembly either!!! It was horrible!!!
