Works great - I wouldn't be without it.

Removes way more dust, dirt, whatever out of the air the the "filters" that come with window air conditioners, or purely "physical" filter replacements like foam filters. It does slightly reduce the airflow, particularly as it gets clogged with the gunk it removes from the air. In NYC, I get about 2 months out of it before it needs to be replaced. YMMV

I am so glad not to be circulating all of the yuck around ...

bought these to put over the flimsy screen filters in my window units. The window unit filters don't catch much but with these added...wow the difference!!! I switch them out monthly and every time they are completely covered in yuck. I am so glad not to be circulating all of the yuck around my house anymore!!!
