This is a fantastic tamper! Fits perfectly with my Delonghi machine. Weighted perfectly. The handle is very comfortable in hand. I’ve been a barista for over 20 years and am very picky about my tools. This will not disappoint!

I am not a pro barista, I just like good espresso. This tamper is working well for me. It fits my IMS 58mm 18gr basket well enough to give me a good tamp. The handle fits my hand well. You should note that this doesn't mean it'll be comfortable for you. Everyone has a different grip and a handle you like may not be one I like. Further, because this is a spring-loaded tamper, it's going to be a little harder to keep clean. It's not a problem, it's just something to look out for. All in all, this is an excellent value, a good tamper, and works well for me. Your mileage will, of course, vary depending on your skill level, your basket, your machine, and, as always, your coffee choices.

Bought this trying to cheap out on a good tamp as I didn't want to drop $200 for a deal spring-loaded tamper. I wasn't expecting the same quality given the price, but at least something useable and this is not even that. Every tamp I've tried with a 54mm basket comes out uneven to where I have to retamp with another device. I've tried even going as far as buying a tamp mat and still get uneven results. I'm not sure if I got a warped unit that is a dud, but even the packing this thing was thrown into an Amazon bag with no protection and a piece was sitting in the bag and main handle in a crushed box inside.Overall disappointing, but not worth my time to send back. I wouldn't buy this again.

Ordered the 53mm to fit my Breville BES870XL 54mm portafilter and it works amazingly well. Fits perfectly.The stamping action of the portafilter compresses the ground espresso way better than I could ever do manually.Today I had my longest extraction ever - 49 seconds (double shot), all thanks to this !Quick note you have to twist it after receiving it to enable the tamper to push down.Would buy again, would recommend to a friend!

When I started doing espressos with a single wall filter I realized how important tamping was. I kept getting inconsistent extractions even after dialing in the grind. I talked to my coffe shop barista and he recommended for me to get this so I can get the perfect 30 lbs of pressure you need for freshly grind coffee. This has worked great for me.

I use this every day to tamp the coffee for my Barsetto home espresso machine and love it. The spring mechanism lets me know that I've applied just the right amount of pressure to get perfectly brewed coffee every time. The weight of the tamper itself does most of the work too, so I'm not really having to apply much downward force with my hand because gravity is helping.

Sturdy device with nice weight to it, perfectly fits my Saeco Estro and would likely work with any Saeco machine. Been using this for a few months; so much better than the slightly rounded one that came with my espresso machine. Spring pressure is accurate, and tamp is tight and flat all the way across.

I had this $6 tamper that claimed to be 51mm but for some reason wouldn’t cover the entire portafilter but I went ahead and got it the same size and dimensions and to my surprise it fits perfectly ! I used to have the problem to have some uncompressed coffee but not no more with this new tamper definelty recommend it saves from the hustle and time to brew coffee and it feels like a good quality Tamper very happy here and so worth it.

J’aime beaucoup cet outil pour tasser le café dans le filtre, il fonctionne très bien, de plus, il est très design, j’ai choisi le modèle rouge. Je le recommence fortement car mon café est meilleur et j’obtiens un beau créma, à condition bien sûr d’avoir un café frais et fraîchement moulu.
