I love these socks! My feet are always cold by the time the -ER months hit and so far, these socks have kept them pretty warm now that it's fall in New England. We'll see how they hold up in the winter months.As for the fit, I have average size legs and they do stay up despite shifting positions while sleeping. Since I bought these to wear mainly at home, I'm not too concerned about them being perfectly identical (though I should also say that I've only used one pair to date). Overall, the quality is worth the price.
