Really nice upgrade to factory OEM headlights
I installed these headlights to a 2013 Toyota Rav4. HUGE improvement!! These new headlights are much whiter and much brighter than the originals, which is exactly what I was looking for. The bulbs fit perfectly for both the low beam and high beam with no hassle.

EXCELLENT - VERY BRIGHT!!
These bulbs are actually better than the OEM bulbs that were installed at the factory for my 2003 Lincoln Navigator - purchased new. My OEM original bulbs I replaced yesterday were 60 Watt bulbs. These are 65 Watts and have a whiter ray of light - not the typical “yellow” hue. These bulbs really light up the road far ahead at night. My Nav’s low beam bulbs are the Sylvania D1R HID light bulbs at 35 Watts - Osram made in Germany. On low beam the D1R (aka Xenon tech) HID bulbs are very effective for about 100 - 120 feet of bright light. When selecting the “high beam” light mode both my HID and Halogen bulbs light up the road for an unbelievable 600’ (200 yards) or more!! After almost 20 years of OEM use (slowly dimming) the new Sylvania bulbs light up the night as I remembered when I first purchased my Nav. Although the Sylvania HID bulbs are at factory 35 Watts spec., the Sylvania Halogen high beam bulbs are 5 Watts more powerful - not enough to cause any wiring issues. In my humble opinion, Sylvania is the best brand. I was surprised to see ALL the Sylvania bulbs I purchased are NOT Made in China!!

So far so good
Toyota Avalon uses Sylvania bulbs. Had issues with the poor lighting provided by the factory bulbs. Wanted to try these because Sylvania was the stock equipment that worked with my auto-beam headlights and did not interfere with the radio signal. Was unable to locate 9005 led or high intensity aftermarket bulbs that specifically identified compatability with the auto-beam system and that would not interfer with the radio. Sylvania advertises that the Ultras are brighter than their baseline bulbs and have superior down road lighting. I can verify that they are definitely brighter and whiter and definitely superior to the stock bulbs. They are not (repeat not) as white or as bright as the leds I see in the newer cars but are a great upgrade from what I had in the stock bulbs. Much better lighting at night and seem to have a much greater downroad effect for me. I have seen complaints about the longevity. I haven't had the bulbs installed for more than a few weeks. If they burn out prematurely, I'll definitely revisit this review. OK for now. Installation was easy once I located the bulb locations (one side has battery and grill semi-obstructions) and figured out how to remove from car's socket. There is a quarter turn to remove bulb or relock it into position in the light fixture. Only slightly harder to remove the bulb from its plastic socket ... wanted to take it easy and not break a prong off the side of the adaptor. This is truly a plug and play. For my car the 9005 bulbs were for driving lights and for high beams. Therefore it takes 4 bulbs all 9005s. As the heading says: So far so good. Great upgrade for me. Work fine even though not led bright.

Great improvement. . .
These bulbs are a direct replacement for the high beams on my 2008 GMC Sierra (Denali), and they work wonderfully. By way of reference, I have had this truck for over a year, now, and have always been a bit disappointed by the performance of the stock headlights. I've been hunting for replacement (9005) bulbs for the high beams (and low beams, but that's another review) for months. I have had cars recently with Xenon headlights and wished for something comparable to that degree of brightness and down-the-road visibility. The stock headlight bulbs, though serviceable, are not on the level of what I wanted. Some other aftermarket bulbs I tried were also a disappointment, more so than even the OEM bulbs. So I decided to give these a shot. I'm glad I have these on, now. The packaging states that it can improve up to 50% over existing bulbs. I can attest to at least about a 30% improvement, if not more, in my non-scientific opinion. The best measure I have of this is the fact that the garage to my house is on an alleyway behind my and my neighbors' houses. With the stock bulbs, I could just barely see my garage door, about 5 garages down, as I turned into the alley at night. The light just didn't travel far enough. Now I can not only see my garage door, but also the three past it down the same alley. In addition, the light is whiter than the yellow light put off by the OEM halogens (though still slightly yellow in tint), so not only is the bulb brighter, but it produces a more natural light. It is not, mind you, Xenon headlight intensity or whiteness, but it's approaching that without having to spend hundreds of dollars to change out the whole headlight to an HID model, if they even exist for your application. The only slight downside is that the mounting surface on the back of the bulb that screws into the socket is slightly different from the stock bulbs and the one set of poor aftermarket replacements I tried. This made it a little more challenging to seat the new bulbs into the sockets properly, though only slightly. You may have to work with it a bit. I'm glad I found these and can't recommend them enough. Tip: When installing any headlight bulb, wear some sort of clean gloves. These lights get quite hot when on, and any skin oils that get on the bulb (e.g., fingerprints), will cause the housing to heat up and cool off unevenly and dramatically shorten the bulb life.

Don't Last Long
I bought these because I wanted whiter, brighter headlights. They weren't as bright as the factory bulbs, and the first one burned out in 3 months. So I bought a pair at the local chain auto parts store and they were expensive. Then another one went out. Then another. So I bought Phillips bulbs and so far I'm much happier with the brightness of those. Don't waste your time with these bulbs. Get something else. You might save yourself some frustration.

Bought these to replace the standard headlights, the only problem being they don't appear to be available in Australia so I had to order them from the US Please with the end result, they are a significant improvement over standard Kia Picante headlights, we're happy

Much better than regular Halogen bulbs , white light is brighter. Not blinding to on coming traffic ; I do mostly city / suburbs driving.

Light is too low and does not add any extra luminance from the OEM .

Absolute garbage lights. I bought these after being told that these were the best and brightest halogen bulbs, they aren’t to say the least. These bulbs are not any brighter than the regular $5 halogens that you can buy at any parts store. If I could give a negative star I would.
