Does everything they claim and looks nice ..
It does everything that I expected and more. There are three modes of operation: (1.) Manual "On"; It stays on until you turn if off (2.) "Auto": It runs until it reaches 2 degrees below the desired temperature setting, then turns back on automatically when the probe reaches the desired temperature setting again. (3.) Smart: It runs at a higher speed until the temperature of the probe is the same as the desired setting. Of course, you can also manually turn the unit off. The fan is relatively quiet during it's full-speed operation. The noise wouldn't be objectionable in most home theater applications, particularly if it was inside a cabinet. You can set the light for the LED panel to either stay on all of the time, or to just light up for a few seconds, then turn off automatically.. Personally, I like to see the lights all of the time, so I set it to come on. I have three of them in a rack, and it looks impressive with all three lit up. The air blows out the front. There doesn't seem to be a way to switch directions of the fan electrically. You might be able to take it apart and reverse the fans-- I haven't tried it. It's put together with screws, not rivets, which is good. In some applications, it works better to have the fan blowing in, but it seems to work well blowing out in most situations. So far, I have nothing bad to say about it. It does what it says it does, and it looks nice. I just installed it, so I can't tell how well it will hold up for the long term. It seems like a quality product, however, and I expect it will last for several years without failure. Because it's assembled with screws instead of rivets, the fans can probably be replaced if they eventually wear out.

Excellent Unit - Fair Price - Excellent Customer Service
I am a professional musician and I ordered this product to install in a rack full of temperature sensitive - high tech and very expensive digital signal processing equipment for guitar. This product works excellent for this application and I do plan on installing a second one in the back of the rack for added ventilation. Even though this unit was probably designed for a computer server rack, I have found it to work extremely well for my guitar rack rig. I would recommend this unit to anyone as it is a cost effective piece of gear that is built well, very quiet, and moves volumes of air to assist in keeping the rack equipment cool. I did reverse the fans so that it is sucking in cool air and I placed it in between the two pieces of equipment that generate the most heat. Once I receive the second one I will place it at the top back area of the rack as to have it exhaust out the hotter air that rises in the rack. Outstanding product, shipped fast, and I could not ask for any better of an addition to to my rack rig !!!

Good Build Quality, Quiet Fans, and Works Overseas
I'm happy with the purchase, and will probably buy more when I upgrade to a larger rack. Good quality build, the fans are quiet, and very easy to install. For those in countries with 220-240 voltage: The power supply is a US two prong adapter but supports 100-240V, 50-60Hz power and is working great for me in Hong Kong. For my setup, I paired this with a short IEC C14 to NEMA 5-15R cable which allowed me to plugin to my PDU. You can also change the controls to Celsius. You can run an additional Cloud Plate through an included extension cable, so you can actually run two of these fans (say in intake and an exhaust) of a single power connection. The extension cable shares power and synchronises temperature configuration and fan speed. There are more details about this on the manufacturer's web site.

Solid build and temperature based fan controller
This is solid fan controller. It came with all required items such as cagenuts, screws, Temperature probe, extension cable to connect another ac infinity controller of you have, 2500mamp DC power adapter. LCD screen is easy to manage. The only down side is noise. Yes, these normal fans and produce loud noise. These are voltage controlled unlike Noctua 4-pin pwm fans. So, it's not possible to replace stock fans with Noctua ones. The cost is pretty high at $139, and there is no other alternatives in the market. This controller just works. This is good one of you have your server rack in your basement.

Great heat distribution
Nice very quiet unit. Zero magnetic interference with my audio equipment. Blend in nicely with the other components. Has dropped and maintained the heat from the tube amp by 20°.

Pleased With Quality & Smart Features
UPDATE: Been using this rack fan for a few weeks now and want to share some tips. You can unscrew the fans to blow in instead of exhaust. And the LCD light can be instructed to always stay on or to turn off automatically. It has smart energy programming. The fans begin running at the lowest speed when it first senses heat. This way it uses very little energy and stays silent. I noticed that this was enough to stop the heat most of the time. Fans will only speed up if the heat continues to rise. This is superior to rack fans that run full blast or not at all. I like the steel finish cause it matches my sanus av rack beautifully. One thing is the fans are blowing heat out the rack [looks like its blowing in on the photos] and I put it on top of my mounted Marantz receiver. My only annoyance is that the power cord could be longer.

Noisy small fans
Noisy fans due to their small size. Works well in an electronics rack with the included temperature sensing probe. Depending on your racks location, OK cooling product. Not great if your rack is in your home theater room or your home run area is nearby bedroom or frequently used living space.

Excellent equipment with a professional fit
Highly recommend for professional equipment. High quality thermal cooling in our new Home network rack system. Fans are well designed, offer good airflow, and added to the look and serviceability of our rack. Fans are well finished, heavy gauge and very presentable. Almost a shame to lock them behind a wire front cabinet in a server room. Sound levels are well within norms for this application. Displays are easy to read and very intuitive.

An excellent well made bit of kit, with a few provisos. First, mine came with an euro plug (not UK) even though I've bought AC Infinity stuff in the past and that's come with a UK plug. Initially I just bought an euro to UK adapter as it seemed the neatest solution. Second, the fans are just TOO LOUD. Far too loud. Excessively so. I'm not sure how this has passed without much comment on other reviews. Even on level 1 (the lowest) you'd not want this in a domestic environment. I purchased one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B072F1X1WD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and set it to 6V. This is enough to power the LCD display but slow the fans right down. Now it works great. Nice and quiet and a good range of usable speeds.

Quality was my first impression of the T7 when I opened the box from Amazon. Solid look and feel. Finish and temperature controller/display. Key features of the AC Infinity T7 are the full metal enclose, no plastic. There is a control for thermostat, and fan speed settings plus mode setting! The fans are all dual ball bearing quality units. The fan came with a thermal probe, 3 sets of fasteners, cable manager and the power adapter Custom settings of the temperature controller can be tailored to almost any requirement. The back-light of the controller display can be set to be on constantly or a ten second shut off which I liked! The buffer variation in "Auto Mode" and "Smart Mode" can be set to 2° or 4° so that the fan will start or stop in relation to the set point. A choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius is capable. Operation is simple. The "Set Point" on the control screen is a user select function for what temperature (of your equipment) you want the fan to control at. The "Probe" temperature on the screen is the temperature in the cabinet or in my case, air at the top of the receiver. "Mode Select" is for either Auto, Smart, On or Off. It also controls the fan speed if desired to low, medium or high. Can't ask for more than that!!! I highly recommend this line of fans for quality and performance!

The finish and updated LCD screen on the latest model is superb. Highly recommended for any professional audio/visual installation. Disappointing that the 1U version still isn’t available for purchase in the UK!

Bought this to remove excess heat from my beer fridges. Had two stand alone fridges that I decided to encase in the wall, didn't want to buy the expensive models built for this application. As expected, they were overheating and not cooling well. Designed a duct so the fans would pull the hot air from the back and let enough clearance underneath the fridges to allow fresh air to go in. It works very well, this fan rack keeps the temperature of that area same as ambient. It shows well, it is nicely built. I am currently using the smart function with 1 C buffer and it rarely goes past 40% of the fan speed at which it is still very quiet. Max speed is a bit loud but not much. A bit more expensive than what I wanted to spend but totally worth it.
