This is a really great set at a very good price. It comes with a lot of replacement blades, and they cut well. The mat seems to be holding up well at this point for me. Just be super careful because the blades are insanely sharp.

I’ve been using this product daily for the past 2 weeks and the mat looks almost new, cuts heal themselves leaving a nice clean surface behind. The extra blades are amazing quality and they are even coated in oil to prevent rust and them keep sharp. In this package you will get a pack of xacto knife blades as well as some blades for the other 2 knives. Everything is Packed nicely and securely. This is product is a steel for the money I definitely recommend this.

I'm actually surprised of the quality of everything in this kit. Mat is great. The xacto handles are sturdy. The #11 blades are sharp. The ruler is thick and won't be easy to bend by accident. Then there's the 9mm snap blade handle. I also purchased a Japanese made autolock snap knife handle at the same time I purchased this kit. I was comparing the Japanese made knife with the one in this kit and I think this one might actually be a little better. The Japanese one has a nicer finish of course but when pulling back and forth on the blade the autolock slide would move a few millimeters. The one in this kit was rock solid when doing the same test. I'm Sure the little slop in the other knife doesn't mean anything. But it makes this knife feel more solid. Wish I could buy more of those handles by themselves.

First off the exacto knifes are really sharp its feels great in your hand, but the blades do fit a bit loose. The mat is thick enough for what I use it for. But overall worth buying.

This item is a great value. The cutting mat alone is worth the price, but when you add in the other tools it's fantastic. Very well made too.

This is hands down a good buy for the cutting mat alone. All seems to be good quality. Problem is- I won’t have to order again soon because of the amount of items this came with that will last a long time. Soo... company may want to reconsider the good deal!

This hobby set arrived safely flat in a box instead of rolled. I like particularly the self healing mat, unlike the cheaper versions that look the same but keep cutting scars on them. Comes with spare blades and is of better quality. Nice started kit for any hobbyist or artist.
