My 12-year-old son requested a hatchet for Christmas this year. I looked at many of them on Amazon and liked this one the best. It is the perfect size and weight in your hand. My husband really likes it and says that it will be great for my son to go out and chop up trees that fell out back and cut saplings to make a fort. I like that it's a bright color and harder to misplace. That's a real problem with a 12-year-old boy. I know he's going to really love it. I've had to wrap it and put it under the tree quickly to keep hubby from wandering away with it!

Great product very sturdy. The items are very sharp, and unfortunately was wrapped carefully to avoid possible harm. I almost cut myself because it was lightly wrapped in bubble wrap loose in a box.

I ordered these for my grandson and he loves them.just like the picture and very durable.

The hatchet comes sharp. I was able to chop kindling with ease. The machete is not as sharp, but the weight and balance make it easy to use.

The machete was a little small but still very nice quality

As soon as I took it out of the packaging, the snap broke loose. Also, the other snap enclosure was put together backwards. Overall the quality of the blades and handle appears to be good.

They look very nice. I got them very quickly.
