I nearly submitted a bad review
I had just finished writing a long, negative review of these replacement leads, mostly centering around the tiny 1/8" tips protruding from the handles, making them nearly impossible to use, compared to the originals.Just prior to clicking "submit", I took a second look at them. I had to use a utility knife blade to pry off the covering over the probes, which I thought were molded directly to the grips. I was able to pry off the plastic, so I now have a functional pair of replacement leads. A set of instructions would have let me know that, but this lead set didn't come with any.So one less star for lack of instructions, and for my frustration with getting something I thought was a bad design.

Excellent exact replacement for my old Triplett V-O-M
I purchased these to go with a 1960s VOM. The part number matched the manual, so I knew it would be a good replacement. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the included crocodile/alligator clips screwed on to the end of the test leads, a feature I had not seen before. A friend who once serviced VOMs like mine said that was a unique feature of Triplett test leads. Keep in mind that these leads don't have the guarded plug shape of the newer leads.

Fine Quality Universal Leads
The quality of these leads is excellent. The wires are substantial and pliable. I especially like the screw-on alligator clip attachments. Not only are they a very handy feature, but they also serve to protect the lead tips when not in use. I found that these Triplett leads fit my ancient Beckman DM25 multimeter perfectly. They plug in firmly and stay put.

Best prices on Amazon for these VOM leads.
These leads are OEM for the meter I own. The leads I have wire out badly and these are the direct replacement. Triplett leads are a bit pricey and I found the best price on Amazon. Free shipping a big plus. All others want $8-10 to ship.

As good or better than the original leads
I have a 50 year-old Triplett 310 meter whose leads started to fray and I worried that I could not replace them. But, after a quick search, I found these replacement test leads. They fit perfectly, they are plenty long, and as an added bonus, they have screw-on, insulated alligator clips that attach to the ends of the test leads. I am so happy that Triplett is still in business and that places like Test Equipment Depot (the Amazon merchant from whom I bought them) exist. BTW, T.E.D. shipped very fast and at a fair price. I would buy from them again.

These, of course, are genuine Triplett replacement leads ...
These, of course, are genuine Triplett replacement leads for the model 310 meter. If you were used to the thinner, smaller, version that used to fit into the older model 310 meter's cardboard box you will find these are full size with thicker gauge wire. They also have a safety collar near the probe tips that the really old leads lacked. The leads screw into the accessory alligator clips for a tight fit.

Well made test leads
These test leads appear to be far superior to some cheaper test leads I bought last year - the cheap ones came apart after only a small amount of use. These test leads have good insulators and insulation - they should last a long time.

N ot top quality but do the job
The male ends tend to fall out of the multimeter sockets so it's pretty obvious that the quality is somewhat lacking but they accomplish the job.
