Final update: I upgraded to 4 stars. Everything seems to work well. The watch is comfortable and easy to read. Setup was a bit difficult and navigating the screens was confusing at first. This is probably something to be expected because of the number of functions that this watch has. As I use the watch it is getting easier to navigate the functions.Update: the replacement arrived today. The package has been opened so I am not sure I would call this product new, since orders are fulfilled by Amazoni cannot fault the seller for this. The watch is in working order so I am going to give it a chance and will update this review after I complete the setup process time.Update: The seller has contacted me, they seem concerned and responsive. I am working with Amazon to exchange the item. I hope that this was an unfortunate one-time occurrence and that I will be able to write a wonderful review of the replacement.The watch arrived today, it is useless, does not do anything. Dead on arrival. The package appears to have been opened, i suspect that the item was purchased, the box opened, the product returned, and I am the unlucky second owner. The watch will not “wake” from power saving mode even though the enclosed instructions say that pressing any button should exit power saving mode. I attempted to contact the seller through Amazon and received an email saying that my message could not be delivered to the seller because there was a problem with the recipient's email system. The watch is attractive and I would like to exchange the watch for a new (not pre-owned) watch that works but do not know how to initiate that process if my message can not be delivered to the seller.

At first sight the watch was great. I purchased it just weeks away from deploying thinking of its features being handy. Right away I noticed that the altitude, temperature and weather forecast were continuously off, however I figured I could get by. I've had it now less than 2 months and other than the reliable compass and rigid band, the watch is a nightmare. It started to randomly reset to 12PM with a date of 1-1-2016 just before the battery died on me. I figured a battery change would fix that issue but it did not. It's been happening so frequently now that it's pointless to continue correcting the time and date and I'm now forced to purchase another watch and be without one as I wait for the new one to get to me. In addition to the inconvenience of correcting the time and date, the sensor button also popped out. I would definitely recommend that anyone thinking of purchasing this watch think twice and look elsewhere. A very big inconvenience and waste of my money as the return window has now closed since I could not initiate a return process in time, given my current limited access to the internet on this deployment.

So far so good. It is very complicated to navigate but so far the step counter seems very accurate as is the compass.The altimeter is essentially useless I live at 20 feet above sea level and it constantly tells me I’m at -54 feet.Overall for $60 it’s a great watch.

The black face is hard to read in low light I would recommend the silver face if you consider that could be a problem.The watch is pretty nice, the only problem is that I couldn’t get to calibrate the compass, is always showing OFFCAL, I tried 4 times and I gave up. Maybe a defective one, I returned it.I also maybe got a one with a low battery since the light is not that bright.

back light to dim . numbers to thin cant see good. a when you get over 50 years old .looking for brite and big.but ok watch.

Stopped working completely after just a few weeks.

Great watch has everything i need to stay ahead of the weather when outdoors. Just give it time to adjust from calibrations for a more accurateprediction. Like how you can take it in the water but don't do diving or the pressure will likely break the protective seals. Thank you for creating such a unique watch !
