Craftsman Extreme Grip 10" Adjustable Wrench

After tightening up on a recalcitrant nut or bolt with the crescent action the additional grip of the vise-grip style cam makes for a very solid grasp and can prevent the rounding off that can happen with even a very good crescent wrench. After the initial loosening using it without the extra steps is effective. A good tool to have in the drawer.

This is one of the better adjustable wrenches I use at work. The locking feature is holding up after about 9 months, and the grooves and wider grip due to the locking mechanism allows for more torque. The jaws allow for no slipping as well, even if your locking mechanism "fails", you're still left with a wrench with a hell of a grip on nuts and bolts.

A versatile and sturdy tool. Based upon its weightiness and usefulness, I anticipate that this is tool which will have a long and functional life in my tool box.

I've used many crescent wrenches and the biggest problem is that they majority of them walk when a lot of pressure is applied. this wrench does as advertised it grips the bolt when needed and when i need a quick adjust and turn it does just that and still doesn't walk even when i dont clamp down on the bolt i need to tighten or remove! good price, good quality i would and have referred to many friends!

The ubiquitous 'cresent' wrench. Everyone has one and for good reason. They're handy as heck. This locking Craftsman adjustable wrench is the bees knees. It's still an adjustable wrench but locking pliers too. It's darn comfortable in the hand as well. A must have hand tool for everyone's toolbox.

I have different sizes of channel locks, but this tool is nice because of the crescent wrench type of jaw that will fit large bolts better and be able to clamp down with a lot of force.

True to specifications, useful product.

I don't normally use crescent wrenches because I don't like how loose they can be. This tool settles that issue and is a great universal tool to have laying around. It takes the best of both worlds (an adjustible and a vice grip) and marries them together.
