No more microphone whipping around the cab.
After years of gear keepers o decided to try something new. I'm loving the mic assistant due to the fact you don't have a leash whipping the microphone around on bumps. Also, it came with a bunch of different hardware for mounting. I used the straight bar and have it screwed into the headliner. Love it.

Didn’t make it a year and the top swivel with the clip broke.

Yea, it retracts well, but the noise!!!?
The product works as expected, however it RATTLES LIKE CRAZY!!! Any vibration yu het causes this thing to make noise like an angry rattle snake. If I can’t find a way to tighten up the innards so it doesn’t do this, it’s gonna have to go.
