The Mystery of the Lufthansa Airlines Heist:: A Wiseguy Reveals the Untold Story

I particularly liked the examination of interpersonal relationships of the NY mob guys. He as spot-on about the difference in the loud talking wannabes being the checkers players while the real deal guys are playing chess. In Kansas City, Nick Civella was always quiet, stayed out of the clubs and ordered "hits" only when nothing else would achieve the goal. He chose an underboss who was exactly the same personality type. If KC Underboss, Carl DeLuna, sat next to you in a restaurant, he would be quiet, respectful and dressed like an off-duty cop.

Although there is a wealth of writings out there on the event, this is an unbiased account by one of the players , without aggrandizement , and with much more detail , not mostly dependent on hearsay to tell his side...

More of a pamphlet than a book and all information I have read in other books on this subject......

This book tells the story of what supposedly happened to the over $6 million dollars Jimmy Burke and crew stole from the Lufthansa airline in 1978. The money was never recovered.

I should've paid more attention to the detailed description. I wouldn't have paid $6 for a 41-page pamphlet.

DO NOT BUY THIS. This is no more than a newspaper article in pamphlet form - in fact it is presently sitting with the newspapers waiting for recycling.Never before have I posted such a negative review, but I have never been more disappointed when this arrived.

Rubbish don't bother read it in 15 minutes if you have seen the movie goodfellas then you know as much as the author

Nothing new to be learnt here and not a particularly well written short story.
