Prefer this to toner
So I do bleach, my hair as you can see in my photos my roots are very yellow, and the rest of my hair is just ombré down of like 8 different shades of blonde. Now I decided to switch to this product instead of toner because toner fades with heat and water and I feel like it’s always impossible, trying to get my ends to match my roots. I am not hair professional. But this product I put on dry hair all over my head left it on for about 40 minutes and my entire head is the same color blonde and is significantly less dry and coarse than if I were to use toner. I went out on a whim and tried this product and I will forever be using it. I think it leaves my hair, the perfect shade of “old money blonde” and I don’t have to worry about mixing toners to avoid brassy roots.I did go ahead and add some photos in natural light and what it looks like after it’s grown out and as you can see, my hair is still the same blonde which you would never see after a bleaching tone and eight weeks of grow out in my opinion. Also the last photo with my Starbucks mustache you can see where I decided to do a root smudge with this product instead of a bleach and it doesn’t look too bad, but it’s clearly not as blonde as I would like so I won’t be doing that again, but I figured I would add that for reference for any other Blondies out there.

Affordable product with a high lift
The product was very easy to use and lifted my brown hair at least 4 levels. It helped me to get closer to the blonde look I'm currently rocking without having to process my hair with more bleach the time. The product was very affordable and was way better than any box dye I've ever used. It gave my hair dimension. I'll advise you to remove any dark box dye before using this product because it will NOT lift thru permanent dark box hair dye.

I found my perfect color
I have way more salt than pepper hair after going gray from a natural dark brown with red overtone. Sorry to say gray doesn’t look great with my coloring (I was a “dark autumn”). I did not want to go back to coloring dark brown every 2-3 weeks as I’d get that white stripe in no time.I had about 3” inches of my now natural color and below was bleached that needed blending. I used a 20 volume developer and I got some lift on some of my still dark brown hairs which was not expecting. Now I have neutral very pale blond, mixed strands so it’s not all a solid color which is what I wanted. No demarcation line from natural to older bleached hair. I have not needed a toner…yet. I only put color on roots then pulled through rest of hair before rinsing. This is perfect as I did not want a yellow/golden blonde color. Everyone’s hair reacts differently to hair dye, so it’s a gamble I was willing to take.

Awesome!
I recently bleached my hair which resulted in an orange, white brassy color EWWW! Prior to bleaching, my hair was a mousy light brown with Grey's around my temples, along with the remnants of red on my ends that I have been trying to remove for months! (will NEVER go red again btw! lol) I used 10A as directed, except I only processed for 20 mins rather than 30 & then washed with purple shampoo & purple conditioner. I am beyond thrilled that the results were just as I wanted them to be. My hair is no longer brassy, the Grey blends nicely & the lingering red is GONE! I'm finally a more uniform and more natural looking blond. YAY! Left is after bleaching & right is after using 10A!

Love it!
I recently bleached my hair and didn’t like that you could tell it was obviously bleached but still liked how light of a blonde it was. I wanted to tone my hair and make it into a light ash blonde, so got this Wella dye in 10A/1030. I put it on and left it for 30 minutes and love the results! I included a before picture and two after pictures: one in artificial yellow lighting in my bathroom at night, and one in natural lighting coming from the sun shining in my bedroom from the window during the day. My hair is still nice and light, but looks like a more natural blonde as opposed to that obvious bleach blonde. Exactly what I was hoping for!

Gotta know what you’re doing to make it work.
I am by all means not a professional, but I’ve dyed my own hair since I was 13.I’ve used Wella for a while now. I am a natural blonde (and I mean actual blonde/lvl 8-9). So between that and my hair type, I take color and or lift really well. I wanted to do a blonde money piece with a blended blonde “ balayage”, and kinda silver baby lights throughout. So my all around color is this 10A dye, and I used T18 (White lady) liquid toner with T16 (Polar ice) Creme toner. So 10/10!

Fabulous!
Fabulous toner, long lasting results!

Good color
I've been using it for years. It works on the length of the hair where color was already there. But on shorter hair closer to scalp the stubborn Grey's still grey
