Awesome Product, but…
I purchased this to cut various sized holes in ceilings for recessed lights and whole-house audio speakers; 50+ holes of various sizes. This is a substantial, heavy duty, super sturdy/rugged tool…. It is not flimsy or “cheap” in construction. Works like a champ and the dust shield really helps contain the drywall dust. Comes with a sturdy protective carrying/storage case.A friend of mine who is a busy General Contractor borrowed this from me to go thru plaster and lath for a custom sized exhaust duct and wound up getting one for himself; it cut thru everything including the lath. The “but”….The only recommendation I would make for anybody considering this tool is to consider buying the version with the vacuum port to further mitigate the dust and eliminating the need of dumping it. I did not know a version with a dust port was available when I purchased this and I may have gotten that one instead. However, attaching a vacuum hose to it may be a hindrance for some….. the dust dumped out real easy after each hole was cut.All things considered, this is a 5+ star tool.I hope this helps

Absolute GAME-CHANGER! I WISH I BOUGHT THIS YEARS AGO!!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I ABSOLUTELY HATED CUTTING HOLES FOR CEILING SPEAKERS! I tried every technique (or so I had thought) and it was always an absolute mess.Opening up the box, it’s very nicely put together, the carrying case is wonderful, and it comes with two extra blades. It’s super simple to Set up, and put away. This device absolutely contains all of the potential mess that would otherwise be raining down on you while cutting holes in the ceiling. You are able to push the device up and have it cut the thing out then pull the device away and dump it all into a trashcan. You don’t even need to put down a tarp or anything. It’s absolutely fantastic. As you can see from the video, once you find where your Joists are(I use 2 of the magnetic stud finders and leave both of them up so that when cutting the hole there is now way I can make a mistake) you drill the bit in, and then start to go at it. My drill is really weak that’s why it was having trouble at the beginning. My absolute favorite tool now, and I will not ever be going back to the way I used to do it.Buy it. It was the best $100 I have spent on a tool. It saves meRoughly (per speaker)-5 mins set up/break down time to put out tarp and cover stuff-2 mins area vacuum time-5 mins hole filing(if hole is to small making it a little larger in the right area, which is also a mess)-2 mins vacuuming myself/clothes/shoes/multitool, misc cleaning)- the headache of getting rained onIf your looking at the item, you have to cut out at least 1 hole, and it’s absolutely worth it forThe 1 hole.I got the 10” model and it’s great for speakers with 8” woofers.

Worked well.
Do take your time using the saw and if you can practice on something that is not your wall/etc such as a 3x3 drywall patch if you have it. These wall hole saws can jump if you are too aggressive initially contacting the surface. Once seated don't rush it and you'll get a clean outcome.

Seems to do a nice job
Bought this to cut out holes for speakers and can lights. Works pretty well. The bad part about being able to change the size is the blades are moveable. Obviously, you have to have that to be able to change sizes of holes to cut, but this also backfired on me once in which I apparently didn’t tighten one of them back tight enough and it moved on me during the cut. So user error, just giving a heads up to make sure everything is very tight before cutting.

Well worth the price
I was hesitant to spend this much on a drywall cutter but I’m glad. I did. This thing cuts holes in the ceiling for lights like proverbial hot knife through butter. May be overkill if you only need to do a few holes but cuts quickly and cleanly. Comes in nice plastic storage case.

I wasted my money on this
The product looked like it would work well and the reviews were great but I never got the chance to use it. The machine screws were stripped out when I received it therefore couldn’t even make an initial adjustment for the size Cottle I needed. What a waste of 100+ dollars.

Easy to use
I had a kitchen project to take down my old four 48inch fluorescent light tubes and replace the lighting with recessed lights. I had never done this before and bought this adjustable ceiling cutter to make my 4 inch holes. Super easy to use and highly recommended! I love how my kitchen lighting looks now compared to the old style tube lighting!

Very nice accessory with case
At first, I was a little surprised by the price but when it arrived, I quickly discovered why. Very high quality product with a storage case and spare? teeth. I have a smaller adjustable hole saw with dust shield that I bought at one of the big hardware stores but it only goes up to six inches and is nowhere near the quality of this one. I think that one was $30. This one was $90. Not the greatest value but I don't mind paying for the quality.

Works great
Works great. One of the few hole cutters wide enough for the speaker holes I need to cut.

Bit broke right away and cant replace
seemed like good quality when it arrived, but the center bit broke on the second hole i drilled. it doesn't appear that you can replace the bit either, so it is now useless to me
