Painless Learning Africa Map Placemat, 12 x 17 1/2 inches

I've memorized the map of Africa using this placemat (I'm 63 years old ). Works great as a placemat too, easy to clean. Would recommend to all parents and grandparents for their young ones and for themselves

As advertised, great product, and very durable

I actually memorized all the counties of Africa using this simple device. It's a place mat in your face every time you sit down to eat. It inspired me to google a little about each country, enough to follow news of the day and understand how the countries came to be. And to maintain my knowlege, I just review a section of the map at every meal. Get it and get a handle on the second largest continent on the planet. It's also durable and easy to clean.

Great map for the wall

On the back is the same map, without the names of the countries, so you can use a dry-erase pen and practice. I love the whole thing, study it every day before and after meals. I bought both Africa and Asia - the family studies both.

Very pleased with this placemat, seems very sturdy. It is an updated map, and it DID have South Sudan on it. Our family is very busy and is often in the car. I use these placemats to help keep the kids learning even when we are traveling between games. I have used flash cards in the past but find that they bend or get scattered when we are running from one place to another. With stiff placemats I didn't have that problem.

I used it for a presentation at my daughter’s preschool on their world culture day and I love the fact that it was laminated and the kids could touch it without causing any damage to it😊.
