Rowntrees Jelly Tots - Pack of 6

I haven't had Jelly Tots since I was a kid and so ordered some while feeling sentimental to see if they were as good as I remember. First of all, these are SMALL (3" x 4") bags (or 3"x3" containing actual Jelly Tots if you don't count the seam). The bags are very easy to open with a small cut slit that you can tear the bag open from. For anyone that has never had Jelly Tots before, they are 1/2" diameter with a stronger and somewhat tart fruit flavor. They come in 5 colors/flavors: green (lime), yellow (lemon), orange (orange), purple (blackcurrant), and red (strawberry) and are coated with a fine sugar (so don't pour the Tots into your hand unless you are prepared for a small mess of this sugar as well). While they are just as delicious as I remember, the price is very high (understandable since they are imported, but still makes the cost prohibitive) for what you get (six tiny bags) and so I highly doubt I'll be ordering them again any time soon. The ones I had arrive have less than 3 months remaining before their "Best Before" date (arrived January 2014 and expire March 2014).Ingredients: Sugar, Fruit juices from concentrate (25%) (Grape, Apple, Strawberry, Orange, Blackcurrant, Lime, Lemon), Glucose syrup, Starch, Acidity regulator (Trisodium citrate), Acids (Malic acid, Citric acid, Lactic acid), Flavourings, Naturally sourced colours (Anthocyanins, Copper complexes of chlorophyllins, Carotenes).66 Calories per 20 sweets.

Jelly Tots are supposed to be soft .. these came hard. I was recently in England and knew that the packaging with vegan on it were the new ones. I don’t know how these are being stored but they are not right

I ordered these Jelly Tots in July of 2023 and they arrived quite quickly, in tact, no problem but I was disappointed that the sell by date was July 2023, that's OK for me but I was giving them as a gift so I would of preferred at least a couple of months extra on the sell by date.

Just like I remembered them

Saw a film character on one of my British detective shows mention these. Thought I’d give them a try. Tiny stale sugar coated gum drops. Save your money. Maybe in England they might be worth a go, but not here in the USA.

Happy to have found these! love how they taste, and nothing beats a nice fruit candy that is not made with corn syrup!

Took almost a month to arrive and the 6 packages are pretty small. Having said that I love,love, love jelly tots.
