We purchased three of these ceiling fans to replace hideous ones in all of our bedrooms. We replaced all three in the span of a few days (and we didn’t strangle each other). My only complaint would be that the instructions tell you to assemble things out of order. Which led to a longer installation for the first one we replaced. Once we learned that lesson the rest of them went up in a breeze! They work great, are quiet, and look very nice!

These fans are awesome. I agree with the criticism that the blades were hard to install. On the second fan I installed two of the blades before mounting to the ceiling. That made it easier. They are super quiet and look modern. I believe they put out as much air as the wider wing span fans. The chains are a tad too short so I will need extensions. I’m 5’8” and can barely pull them.

This is a great fan for under a hundred bucks. I purchased the 42 in for my daughter's bedroom, and it is a great fit. It's got excellent airflow, it was fairly easy to install, and it looks great. I am no electrician so I had to use Google, but still an installation success. The only thing we don't care for is the color of the light bulbs, we will be replacing them. Also, the fan was slightly wobbly the first time I installed it, so I tightened the blades and that seemed to fix the problem.

I really like these fans. I actually got two, one for each of my children's rooms.It was easy to install, I installed these from a pre-existing ceiling fan and it was easy to convert over the wiring and mount without any complications. It fastened securely to the ceiling. I had one installed in less than an hour.They look good and have tolerate a year of abuse from my children and still look like new.The motor is quiet and runs well. The pull chains have easily adjustable lengths and do not get stuck or require a lot of strength to pull.I have seen some complaints about difficulty installing the blades but from past experiences I installed the blades before mounting up to the ceiling and it seemed easy (I have installed ceiling fans in the past, but this would be easy for a beginner as well). They are not overly heavy for lifting or holding during instillation.The only con and it is minor is the way the pole is designed to accommodate both slanted and flat ceilings can make it look a bit wobbly at high speed but it is firmly mounted and doesn't shake or move. It is just the way the pole latches into the ceiling mount.Overall, I really love these fans and will likely get more when its time to update further ceiling fans in my house.

I purchased two of these for my newly remodeled home. They were much cheaper than the big box stores but the quality was equal. I loved the two sided paddles to allow for me to choose the look for my house. The lights provided were warm and not harsh or offensive. The fan is quiet and functional. They were easy to install and came with no missing pieces.

Looks great, sturdy, just the right amount of air for kids rooms, easy to manage (install & pulling of the fan/light cords,) quiet. The rooms are not very large, so we didn't think we would need 5 blades & this was perfect. I feel like this completed the space & ended up buying another for my other kid's room.

I had no issues with installing this myself. I usually let my partner install the fans, but this time I did it - with success! And in less than one hour - as advertised. The instructions were easy to follow and well illustrated. The design is modern; light is perfect, and the fan, even on low, is more than enough wind for my 13 x 14 room.And did I mention quiet and no need for balancing. I am going to purchase another for my next room.

This fan is quite effective at moving air. For the size, it moves more air than larger five blade fans in the house. The one drawback is it's extremely loud. Obviously three blades moving that much air are loud, but that's not where the noise problem comes from. The motor on this thing literally hums. You can easily hear it resonating on a second floor and on a standard height ceiling you're going to hear it constantly if you're under it. Ironically, the lower settings make the problem worse as you don't have the blade noise but now just have a humming motor. Maybe if you have vaulted ceilings, or install this on a covered porch you'd be good, but I really recommend looking at something else for a bedroom or living space.
