We bought this a while ago as a replacement for another shaver that was flimsy and had a small head, and was a pain to work with. This one has a large shaving area, which makes work progress much faster. It works really well, leaving the fabric nicely smooth without having to press hard and pass it over many times, as it happened with our previous one. It is also comfortable and easy to handle, and though we haven't had it for a very long time, it looks robust enough to last. Definitely recommended and good value for money as it gives used clothes and fabric extended life. Super Lint is not a very well known brand, but before the flimsy one we had previously, we had a Braun one, and this one we have now is at least as good as our old Braun was.Disclaimer: I am generally very lazy to write product reviews, and was prompted to write one for this product because the seller offers two replacement blades for good reviews. My review is however a true reflection of what I think of the product.

I purchased this after checking out other reviews and was not disappointed. With its large head, it removes fluff balls fairly quickly and easily. Sometimes you may have to cover the same area a few times in order to pick up everything but the end result is good. The handle design makes using it for long periods comfortable. With its long mains lead you don't have to worry about replacing batteries and it has a large enough collection tank that comes off easily for emptying. Great product at a good price.

I chose the product because it runs off the mains so I'm not wasting money on batteries. The product arrived very quickly and seems to work well. However, it's not as powerful as I had hoped so it's still a laborious process removing bobbles from jumpers. It's very easy to empty and came with free spare blades plus an offer code to get two more. So far I'm please with my purchase but I've only used it once so can't comment on reliability in the long term.

I ordered the superlint as I desperately needed something to remove bobbles and pilling from my favourite wool cardigan and cashmere throws. In the past I have used the manual lint removers which you roll over your clothes, which were useless!I received this item a few days ago and used it immediately on a cardigan I thought was beyond saving. So happy to report it did an amazing job and now my cardigan looks as good as the day I bought it. I like that the Superlint can be used with either batteries or via mains. So easy to use and comes in a drawstring pouch for easy storage. It’s quite cathartic to see all the lint collected!Highly recommend this product.I would highly recommend this product.

I've had a couple of different lint removers (the battery powered small ones) do yourself a favour, spend a bit more and get this! the battery powered ones don't have enough power to do the job properly and you'll spend ages trying to do a single garment. This one is nice and big (easy to handle) and takes a lot of lint before you have to empty it. Feels solid and well made compared to some of the cheaper options and also you can buy replacement blades for this whereas a lot of the other you can't so once they go blunt the machine is pretty useless!

Item works well but it does take a good bit of work to lift the balls. At know means is this a bad product I just kinda wish it would be slightly stronger

After getting fed up with my battery operated remover 'eating' batteries, I decided to invest in a mains operated version. I am so glad I did! This machine can go for as long as I need without stopping, and I did 5 items in one sitting...and they were big jumpers! I ordered 2 replacement blades when I ordered the machine: however, it comes with an extra one, so I am well stocked now! It also comes with a cleaning tool and a nice black velvet tie bag in which to store it. I am very glad that I spent a bit more, as it has stopped the constant expense of batteries!

Contrary to a comment I noticed when scrolling through the 1star reviews, I do not think the free blades are an attempt to persuade buyers to give a favourable review because I have had my Superlint for several years and it has served me very well - in fact even better than that when compared to some of the early trash I tried in the years before I found the Superlint. However, I have only ever used the electric feature on the Superlint....... until yesterday when I wanted to defuzz a cotton sweater that always 'bobbles' when washed. Unfortunately, a recent spate of decorating has meant that the cable has gone missing, so I decided to try the battery function and what I found was that the battery section on my gadget is set up all wrong for the battery function to work. I tried following the diagram on the battery cover, then doing a couple of my own variation ( not that I expected them to work, and indeed they didn't). Both the diagram AND the internal terminal connections are configured all wrong!!!So, 5 stars for the electric method but 1star for the battery feature (0 starts is nearer the mark).
