Used for marking panelling positions on stairway. Easy to use (not sure where the spirit level fits though?!) but messy so cover your carpets as the chalk does not just hoover off your carpet!

Works, but messy
This is a really useful tool for DIY and anything that requires being straight, I used this for pannelling my staircase to get a perfectly straight line down the stairs, it does the job. Put the chalk into the relevant area, shake it and pull the length you need and 'snap' it back onto the wall. The downside to this is chalk goes absolutely everywhere, and it's blue so makes a right mess to clean up. Maybe that was me putting too much on perhaps?
