Thank you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Timer *by A***R on February 16, 2026* This is great. I can take it with me, while things are cooking. It is very easy to setup and is loud enough to be heard. I also like flashing light to catch your attention. It seems to be accurate compared to the stove timer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does its job, but the interface needs work *by O***Y on November 23, 2020* This review is for the YS316 model with individual 0-9 buttons. This timer does its job accurately. The large display is easy to read. The buttons are spaced well to avoid accidentally hitting more than one button at a time. It's great that it uses a pair of inexpensive AAA batteries instead of a button cell. It can count down accurately for up to 9 hours and 99 minutes. But the user interface could be improved. The alarm is very loud on its high setting if the back of the timer isn't obstructed. You can reduce the volume or shut off the audio alarm with a switch on the side. I like the red LED that flashes when the alarm goes off, even if the audio alarm is disabled. When I bought the timer I'd planned to wear it on a lanyard around my neck, but this proved impractical. The timer comes with a short loop of cord to allow you to suspend it from something like a hook or a lanyard, but unfortunately the buttons trigger with only a very light touch and there is no audio response when this happens. Therefore if the timer is not on a solid support it's susceptible to accidental button triggers. This happened to me repeatedly when I tried to wear it on a lanyard; eventually I gave up. I find it annoying that there is no beep or other feedback when I touch any of the buttons on the timer. Therefore I have to watch the display when setting, starting and stopping to be sure I've hit the right keys. The on/off button also could be improved: it stops the timer and blanks the display when you press it for three seconds, but then you have to press it for three seconds again to turn the display back on. I don't see why the extended hold should be needed to turn the device on again after being shut off. In summary, the timer does its job and it's easy to use if you understand its less-than-perfect interface.
