Keeps Bugs Off!
At certain times of the year where I live, there are gnats everywhere. It makes mowing the lawn a really unpleasant chore - fighting off those little buggers (their bites are VERY annoying and the itching takes weeks to go away!) is a pain. So I thought I'd give this mesh headgear a try. It works wonders! I wear a baseball cap to keep the sun off my balding head, and noise reducing headphones while I mow, and this mesh headgear easily fits right over both and covers my bare face and neck right down to my shoulders. It's lightweight and stays in place and is easily removable. It comes with a small storage pouch that will easily fit into my pocket when not in use, and I put it in a mesh bag to launder. The gnats still buzz around, and even land on the mesh headgear, but I don't get bit anymore! Hooray!

Very good product and it does the job.
The hat and netting fit quite well. The netting is able to deter the flying insects from your face and neck. the netting is a bit "cloudy" and causes the light to appear a bit darker than it is. It would be nice to have a clearer view. Additionally, in a rare case, and only when the netting makes direct contact with your skin, insects are able to make contact. It is sometimes necessary to adjust the netting so it stays draped properly away from your skin. The product works well and should do the what it is designed to do.

Works Great: Highly Recommend!
I purchased these head mesh nets to keep off mosquitos when I do my walks in the woods. I live in Florida so mosquitos are a problem even in the winter months. I wear the net over my baseball cap that has a very long visor and the size of the net and coverage is fine. The mosquitos will still buzz around the net and even land on it but they cannot get through it. I bought the black color net which was recommended by other people and agree with the reasons why black is best.As a side note, on my hands I wear light plastic food handling gloves that I get at a restaurant supply store. The mosquitos don't even buzz around my hands. In the summer, these gloves won't be very comfortable as your hands will sweat so I might try something else. I always hike wearing long pants, a long sleeve shirt (sometimes two layers), and sneakers or hiking boots. No exposed skin.

Very fine, big, breathable
We suffered from the attacks from Midges when we were at Fair pool in Scotland so we decided to look for some very fine mosquito nets. I just received them, they are very fine, big enough for my wide rim hiking hats and of course we can still breath freely. This set also comes with 3 cute carrying pouches for protection and for our convenience. How nice! Happy for the purchase!

Great for bug protection
We used the mosquito mesh nets while on our vacation to Australia. There are certain areas there that have issues with gnats and sand flies. The mesh nets were great and protected our faces from the bugs. We have decided to travel with these all the time now, because folded up they are small and don't take a lot of space in the suitcase. My sister said she was going to use the net for when she mows her grass this summer. The nets were really effective.

Serves the purpose but visibility limited in direct sun
Got theses to keep bugs out of my husbands face while mowing. They work but tough to wear in direct sun light as viability disappears.

Rain, Constant Heat and Humidity, Gnats, Mosquitos, Biting Yellow Flies
Hot and humid Southwest Florida, high heat and humidity virtually all year. That type of climate, which is subtropical, is perfect for bugs. And boy, do we have them. I looked at a few hats with mosquito netting added to it but realized that I couldn't get the total head and neck coverage I needed for proper UPF sun protection.Since I just had a melanoma removed from my back (with surgery including 56 stitches), I'm very careful about what I wear in the sun when working on our landscaping. I couldn't find beekeepers' hats which provided both UPF 50 in the hat as well as side and back flaps to protect my neck. So I quickly realized that the solution was to buy the netting separate and simply use it over the proper sun protection hats that I already had.I ordered this triple pack of mosquito head netting for a number of reasons. They are economical, well-built, are loose fitting, are a very neutral khaki color, and have a very tight mesh to protect against the tiniest buggers. The khaki color does not absorb heat from the sun and is easy to see through. Since our Florida yellow flies are attracted to dark colors, khaki is the way to go.
