Level 1 and Level 2 Portable Tesla Charger (15&40 Amp, 100-240V, 25ft Cable) NEMA 5-15&NEMA 14-50 Tesla Electric Vehicle Charger

I purchased this to replace an old charger that decided to lose a battle to my snowblower... This MUSTART unit looked to be the best price/performance ratio and was available quickly.Upon recieving the charger I was pleasantly surprised both with the large case for it and the included accessories. There weren't any pictures of the case on the listing and I wasn't expecting one. Additionally, it included a holster for the charger for wall mounting and also a cable hanger. I already had a cable hanger, so I didn't need that part, but the holster was a very nice improvement for my charging setup.I've had the charger hanging outside under the eve of my house for just over a month now - through weather from approximately -10 degrees up to mid-50s (Wisconsin gets fun winter weather) and it has operated with no issues at all.I'd definitely reccomend this as a nice upgrade from the lower-power included car chargers.

Excellent quality and function. Nothing to complain about. It looks great, seems high quality rather than cheap, and works flawlessly.I like how it shows the total charge in the LED at completion, in kilowatt hours. This is highly accurate as well. My BMW 330e has a usable battery capacity of around 9 kWh in its 12 kWh battery (3kWh reserved as buffer). When fully draining the battery, it recharges completely and shows 9 kWh charged - spot on.This model does not have wifi connectivity for smart functions or connection to apps, but a slightly more expensive model is available with these features. I probably would have purchased the more expensive unit had I realized, but since the MyBMW app mostly provides this function it isn't really necessary.If I were super picky I'd suggest improving the tactile feel of the J1772 plug. The 110 volt charge cord that came stock with the car had a bit better feel to the plastic plug end and release button - softer plastic than this unit. Certainly not a big deal, but since it is the part of the charge cord touched daily it would be something to consider.

Bought for it's size, features and price. Displays charge percentage and kilowatts per charge. Exceeds my expectations. Hope it holds up well with UV exposure..

Use this charger at work twice a week. My work put in the outlet for me to plug in as I'm the only one with an EV. Have had it for over 3 months and it works for my 2023 Ioniq5. I needed the 25' cord length and I've used it in wet weather and dusty environment. I plug/unplug the cord each use and store it in the included storage case.Had to amend my review. When the weather started warming up a bit in southern California the plug end into the vehicle started getting too hot and would shut down the charging. I would charge for 5-6 hours a day and the car would shut down the charging a few hours in and would do it several times. I would have to go through the Bluelink app to reinitiate the charge.I ended having to reduce the charge current down to less than 6kw through the vehicle to try to stop it from cutting off the charging when it gets too hot. Since I charge during the day it's not too much of a hassle yet but if I tried charging over night and it did this I would be asleep and waking up to a vehicle that has not charged completely.Customer service is quick to respond and they did replace my EVSE for me and it's working for now but still not at the max current.Gave them 4 stars for pricing and good customer service. I will be keeping the EVSE as it meets my needs for charging at work.

I like the way it can be used as a dedicated charger at home and/or a portable charger that can be stored in the car. The wall hanger it genius... it allows you to use it in a tidy wall mounted charger and when needed it can be quickly slipped out of it's holder and taken it with you. The bag is larger and it makes storing the cable a lot easier than their previous model. I have used Mustart brand chargers for over a year now and have had no problems. I usually charge at lower than 40amps but it is nice to have that higher charge rate when needed.

Worked great initially! I loved that I was getting 40A charging & that it also supported both Level 1 & 2 for portability. However, it died after just a couple of weeks. Thankfully, this occurred while still in the 30-day return window. I purchased the Mustart on the recommendation of my co-worker (though his was a different model & ended up failing on him as well). Ugh... had such high hopes for this one. Ended up getting the Romaa which was $100 cheaper but unfortunately it's capped at 32A - no biggie, it's still faster than Level1 (12-15A) charging.
