I BOUGHT FOUR!
These are the greats night lights ever! I don’t really use night lights, never have. I stayed overnight in at friends house and they had this in their bath room! I looked at the back, got the info, looked on Amazon and ordered four of them. Two for me and two for a friend who also like them! Nice design, a little on the laughed side but I’m fine with the size, durable. I love the length of time the light stays on (90 seconds), it has a nice range of motion detection, and it starts the 90 seconds everytime You move around! Very cool!

Fantastic soft light that comes on just when you need it
This was recommended by the today show and I bought it during prime day. I put two in the bathroom and they are fantastic. The light is a soft candle, lit glow as I walked by to use the restroom at night. I no longer have to use the overhead switch at all. My mom and boyfriend love them as well. It’s really the perfect amount of light. They have an elegant look and while they’re a little large to be nightlight, they’re not too too large.

A great purchase
This is our second purchase for these wonderful motion lights. They are perfect in our bedroom for those times our fur old girl doesn't want to get on the bed and sleeps on the floor ... it keeps us from tripping on her. Definitely worth the inexpensive price.

Usage Cost
See updates at bottom.I've had this for about 4 months now and it works quite well. I initially plugged one in the bathroom outlet and one in a hallway. It's very useful in the bathroom. If I'm just doing a quick stop I don't bother turning the overhead light on but I will use the main light if I'm taking a shower or am going to be reading while in there. The night light isn't bright enough to replace the overhead light. The hallway light didn't work out quite so well for me. What I was looking for was a little extra light for those late night trips to the kitchen. As far as that goes it does perform well. My problem is that the hallway is always semi-dark and the light comes on every time I pass, even in the middle of the day. That kind of bugged me because I don't like wasting energy i.e. my money. That got me to thinking, how much energy does this thing actually use? Sure, it's an LED which is not going to use much but it's also equipped with a 24 hour a day monitor that is constantly checking for a moving heat source in the vicinity. How much energy does the monitor use? It's got to use some, right?I decided to find out. I had purchased a P3 International P4460 Kill A Watt EZ Electricity Usage Monitor awhile back I'd never gotten around to using so I figured I'd give it a test run. I reset the Kill A Watt, put in my electric rates and plugged the night light into the Kill A Watt the around first part of Sept and let it run. I did have to unplug it every once in awhile when I needed to use the outlet for something else because this setup would cover the other outlet (the Kill A Watt Monitor, not the night light.)The short answer to "How much energy does it use?" is "Not very much."Here are the numbers the Kill A Watt EZ gave me after having the night light plugged into it for a little over a month.Cost: $0.05 TotalRate: $0.104 (My rates per kilowatt hour kWh)kWh: 0.51 (Consumed)Elapsed Time: 842 hour (Total time monitored is just over 35 days)That means that if my numbers are right (and you're more than welcome to correct me if they aren't) then it costs me a whole nickel to use the night light for a month. That's somewhere around 60 cents a year. I think I can handle that. I may even put the other one back in the hallway.I had considered doing this same test with a night light in an area of the house I never go to just to see how much it costs for just the monitoring part without ever turning the light on but that doesn't seem so important anymore. I may do it anyway just for grins and giggles but don't hold your breath. If I do I'll try to come back here and update this review.I hope this helps ease the minds of anyone else that may have had the same concerns.Update:I'm dropping a star on my rating. I bought 2 units 3 yr 3 mo ago and while one is still working perfectly, the other one started acting up about a year ago. It would turn on properly but when it came time to turn off it just flashes off and turns right back on again. It does this for 3 or 4 cycles before it stays off. I had to move that one to the hallway. One of the units I bought my Mother is even worse. It does the same thing except that instead of 3 to 4 cycles it stays on constantly with the brief off flash every 90 - 120 seconds. That's part of the reason for the dropped star. The other part is that they use unusual screws on the circuit board. I opened my Mom's defective unit up and from physical appearances it looks like a diode is burnt. At least the board is very discolored there. Instead of using standard flat (-) or cross point (+) screws they use one that more closely resembles a Y. We didn't have a screwdriver that could loosen the screws so I was unable to attempt repair. These issues are not enough for me to avoid this light. Matter of fact I went ahead and bought her two more to replace the defective one and have a backup for when another one fails.BTW, I never did bother testing the unit in an unused part of the house to check the cost of monitoring only. At a nickel a month it just seems a little inconsequential.5 Stars to me means there is little to no room for improvement. Therefore, 4 Stars it is.Final Update on 10/28/19The second unit is now acting up. This one is acting more like my Mom's where it blinks off for a second or two and comes right back on ... continuously. I tried unplugging it for a day to let it cool and that did work for about a week before it started the blinking back up so I've decided to move on.These were originally purchased on 6/7/16 so that means one of them lasted around 2 years (still works but blinks 3 or 4 times before it stays off) and the other one lasted 3 1/4 years. Since they aren't terribly expensive I'm leaving the rating at 4 stars and may even purchase them again if I don't run across any others I like better. Just be aware that these are very likely not the last motion sensing night lights you will ever need to buy.

Good, bright and save energy
Motion detect is good! Help us save energy, however, it’s a little too bright for us, but everything is good
