Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was skeptical about ordering these because I saw some bad reviews. I ordered 2 for my daughters for camp. They are thick, super warm and come with a thin blanket insert that is easily removable with a zipper 10/10 recommend. The price was reasonable and the quality is great! The only thing is once you take it out of the bag that it comes in, it is nearly impossible to get back in. I will be ordering more for my other children. Awesomely warm and comfortable. Lining is lovely and soft. The only negative is the lining has split at the seam after just one use and I will have to stitch that up. Overall, warm and comfortable.

First of all I have to say that this company is extremely responsive and if you have any questions or concerns before or after ordering your items, just contact them. They are awesome. My product review: I grew up using flannel & canvas sleeping bags (They were passed down in the family and were from the 50’s!) so I know how much nicer they are than new designs. I was excited to find this flannel bag and decided to opt for it instead of the canvas outer for weight reasons since I’m going on a long roadtrip and trying to keep overall weight down in my vehicle. Well this bag was a lot more than I expected! The first thing I noticed was the stuff sack- I’ve never seen one so sturdy, and it has adjustable straps around it. It’s amazing. I know it will be so much easier to get my sleeping bag in and as small as possible. The second thing I noticed was the nylon outer material is much thicker and sturdier than any sleeping bag or even outer product in general. It’s obviously going to be warmer and will definitely last as long as the canvas bags I always used. I never thought I’d find a new bag that rivals the ones I grew up with. The flannel is thick and well made, the bag unzips all the way to make a blanket or sleeping pad. The colors are attractive and the zipper is sturdy. There’s a pocket with Velcro inside, and there’s covers for all the Velcro pieces so they won’t scratch you. I’m definitely going to look at this company before any other in the future. Not only do they make superior products, but their customer service is great.

Excellent sleeping bag. It is all it's supposed to be

Used cocoon style sleeping bags previous years, and opted to invest in nice sleeping bags this time around. Decided on getting two of the 4lb because the night temps were looking into the 40's range and I rather be safe then sorry. I'm usually a very cold person so I used this sleeping bag and also layered another thin blanket on top just as an extra layer. I slept through the entire night feeling toasty and warm. Really liked the two different fabrics, the outer layer being easy to clean or wipe down any messes, but the inside being a very comfy and soft flannel type of fabric. Near the top opening is a string you can tighten to slightly close up the top so it hugs your shoulders, I felt like that made a difference in keeping the warm air in. The zippers glided smoothly with no issues. I was short enough so I was able to kind of fit my head into the sleeping bag and I think the warm air I was breathing out helped keep me warm throughout the night (I'm aware this isn't the typical way for someone to use the sleeping bags haha) I also thought I saw images and reviews stating you could combine the two, which was my initial intent as I had got this for my partner and I to share to make one large sleeping bag but we could not figure out how to connect them together; which now i'm not so sure if you actually can. If you take you're time and fold correctly you could get the sleeping bags back into the bags but I just rolled them up and tied it loosely to avoid all the hassle of spending 15 minutes squishing it all back in. Overall happy with this purchase, as it will be of good use for at least the next 3-5 yearsP.S. I did notice they had a newer/better model (handles down to 30 degrees) out for the same price that I bought these two at, so I would suggest looking at all your options and see which one has the best price at the time of purchase.
