UPDATE the unit has rendered unusable. no longer dispenses properly. will return.i love the way it looks overall and how it compliments my bath decor. however, during installation, the stopper for the soap actually pushed through and now it is stuck in the soap reservoir. i will try to get it out but would appreciate a new one from seller. this is not a cheap dispenser. otherwise, it works as described. the one thing i did notice is that the soap required some diluting for fluidity. i added some water to the reservoir with soap and shook it gently once or twice. the amount dispensed was significantly greater and just the right amount. i like it, just hope it holds up without the stopper. this can cause leakage and spillage which can render the entire unit unusable.

This is great! I needed something like this for the kitchen so when I am dealing with raw meat I don't have to touch the faucet handle and then make sure I sanitize that after done washing my own hands. This was very easy to fill with soap and does show the soap level. I was worried the sensor would be so sensitive that it would dispense soap when it wasn't supposed to but it is not overly sensitive yet I have no problem with the soap dispensing when I need it to. It also looks good sitting by the sink. Very simple which is what I like. I already have a couple friends who saw it and are going to get on.

This product was awesome when I first got it and It dispensed a nice amount of soap. After about a month I started having difficulty getting the soap out. I had to wave my hand by the sensor several times to get the soap out. Eventually even after putting in fresh batteries it just stopped working entirely. For $30+ I could have gotten a standard push soap dispenser rather than this and that would have lasted for years. This thing barely lasted 2 months. Now I can't even wash my hands. Unfortunately it can be a nice sculpture that I can put in my house but what I brought it for it was a waste of money. Just an aside to how it stopped working. At one point the sensor stopped working and the dispenser just kept running unless I turned it off. If you are looking for a nice desk sculpture this great. If you are looking for a soap dispenser I would keep looking. I eventually threw this one in the garbage.

I wanted to love this product. It looks fantastic! Great design. However, it only worked so-so. Much of the time, it does not detect hand motion and you have to pull your hand away and re-place your hand... and only then does it sometimes work.Also, this product did not last. 2 months in, and 1 refill, it stopped working. Tried multiple sets of batteries (which all tested to be good) and put them in various different ways to no avail. It's just dead. So for those keeping track: that's $30+ worth of soap dispenser, "down the drain" in 2 months.The spout also clogged frequently. But I attribute that mostly to the soap I was using.I do NOT recommend this product, as awesome looking as it is. I need function over form in this case.

Love this product! It's sleek in comparison to other automatic soap dispensers, but only comes in the faux wood design, which happens to work for me. You get a generous quantity of soap. Batteries can sometimes run out quickly, make sure to use a good brand. Be careful not to push the stopper into the soap reservoir. I accidentally did that first time around but was able to remove with tweezers - it only takes a gentle touch.

So, when I first purchased this I liked it a lot but then I refilled it with a different soap. The dispenser didn’t dispense enough. I read more reviews and a young woman mentioned that her soap was to thick and would slow the dispenser down. She added a little water and it helped. I did the same thing and it worked! I ordered another for my kitchen before starting chemo, since you have to wash your hands ALOT. And both work perfectly, thank you.

At first this product worked great. Loved how I could put the sponge under the sensor and continue to wash my dishes. Less than 2 months later, the sensor light would turn on but it took a few tries for the soap to come out. Now nothing comes out. Blue light still comes on, batteries were changed, still nothing. For the amount of money I paid, I would expect more use out of this. Don’t bother, not worth the money.

After reading the reviews I thought I was purchasing a great product. So I purchased two one for the guest bathroom and one for the kitchen. My grown children were coming for an extended visit and I felt that these would be a way to help us not to spread germs; especially due to the COVID-19. I love the design. I did not have a problem filling the dispenser once I worked out a system. However, neither dispenser dispenses enough soap to adequately wash your hands. In order to get two drops you must activate the sensor at least 4 or 5 times. I even changed the batteries twice to make sure it was not causing the problem. My advice would be to stick with the pump and refill as needed.Very disappointed this did not work! :(
