Review: Delightful thread - Used this to mend a blown seam on a stuffed animal. I'm no seamstress and I really just wanted to vaguely match the rainbow theme on the stuffie. The thread feels wonderful and was very easy to work with, even with my lack of experience. The colors were vibrant against the black fabric where the seam was located. Hard part will be finding what to use the rest of the thread on as it was WAY more than I needed.

A: It is made up of the primary color block

**Q: Is the color orange in this thread?**
A: I haven't used it yet but looking at it, there is orange in the thread.

**Q: is this thread 40 weight?**
A: It's labeled 'Isacord 40' but there's no clear indication that means it's 40 weight. It's a finer thread than the 50 wt cotton thread I piece with but at the same time seems to be as fine as another thread labelled 30wt. Suffice to say, it's fine but strong enough for long arm machine quilting.

**Q: How often does the color change?  I have another brand that is 12-18" before it changes.**
A: This is a VERY subtle, very fine thread.  It changes color about every 1 to 1-1/2 inches. I used it for free motion quilting.

I use this color thread on my embroidery machine and the variegated thread shows amazing on the material and pattern I am using. The thread can be used on light or dark material. I now have 5 spools in my thread tray so I would never run out of this thread.
