Great lock and theft deterrent
Maybe this will pass the 'Community Standards' police. Had an earlier review and some things didn't pass vetting. Anyhow, really like this lock after looking at others and reading reviews. The only problem I encountered is that even though my coupler is a Curt style, this needed to be modified to fit. It only took a few minutes with an angle grinder, but if you don't have one and need to modify the lock it might be a problem. Anyhow, after grinding and checking fit a few times I was ready to install. I used a puck style lock that was recommended and a video explaining why can be found on YT. The is a lock picking lawyer out there that has lots of information about different locks. Look for the conical face for the lock to find the review. After having the lock installed a few days I did notice that the raw surfaces I created were starting to oxidize so found some paint that was a really close match at the store. Couple of coats and it was ready for long term use.

Easy to use and substantial in weight
Thus far impressed with the ease of application/installation. And quite substantial in weight and size, appears secure.

Fort Knox Locks has great customer service. I ordered several locks and they called to ask if I wanted the locks keyed alike. I also ordered the wrong one and the return was easy. I highly recommend this product and company.

Super solid product
Let me preface this by saying that I like to consider myself pretty handy. So when my lock arrived and didn’t close 100%, I went ahead and chose to ignore the instructions telling me to call in if I had issues regarding the fit.However, the steel proved to be quite hard and difficult for my angle grinder. It was definitely reassuring that if someone does decide to cut into it they’re gonna have a tough time.After what seemed like ages and only about a quarter inch sliver shaved off I now have a snug fitting lock and great peace of mind.

It is a Beast!
I feel better knowing that anyone that gets in my storage yard and try's to steal my trailer has to work REALLY hard to get this lock off. I think it will discourage most all thieves. You need a blow torch to get this off without the key!
