Akashic Records Oracle Cards

UPDATED review:Yeah it’s sad because I really wanted to like this deck! Warning for lightworkers & starseeds: stock pile photos from Pexels.com used as images for cards. Teaser definitions of the cards & a promotional card for seller’s business to entice those who don’t know anything about lightworkers, Atlantis, Egypt, history, religious studies or deeper sacred knowledge, etc. Trust that when you’re ready to open up to these subjects the right books or info will find you, or you’ll know if you vibe with something. In this case, I don’t ... but maybe you will.Cardstock is matte yet thin. It won’t last as long & for some reason the cards stick to each other the way clothes stick to each other. Easy to shuffle but not to separate, in other words. But you really have to work the cards to get a true shuffle out of them. It feels that disrupts from the experience.Guidebook is sparse & in black and white. Normally that wouldn’t bother me but it’s not sturdy enough to stand the test of time either.Also, I’ve used the 3 cards in 1 photo shown in my review in a blog over the course of a year -so that’s one part of my bias revealed & hit a red flag to me.So I honestly feel ripped off & I’m embarrassed for myself & the seller. But I guess you get what you pay for?? I thought this deck was special, but after about a month I’ve only used it twice because it just seems superficial. There’s something about it that’s dishonest. The cohesion is lacking from the artwork & disjointed from the multiple brief meanings it could possibly be.I initially bought it because 1 of my favorite YouTubers used it in a couple of videos. Now I know why I haven’t seen her use it in months! Even then, it’s sad I just don’t feel I should even use it for YouTube (besides a review again? I might not even give it energy after this).I only used it twice. However, I’d rather it go to someone who actually connects with it than keep it. Yet that doesn’t seem to be what’s possible... Maybe it’s just NMS (not my style) & I guess that’s why it’s $20 ($25+ with tax etc). Though let’s be real - you could buy better quality decks with less than that.Someone ELSE should love this deck, not me. But you win some, you lose some. Maybe just don’t order it like I did. Instead, you would be better off looking for books or speaking to other readers you connect with, before finding a deck that needs improvement.
