Mixed results using this finder It can be quirky I do believe its worth having as it can shed light on whats behind the wall It does take a few attempts to get it to sometimes work For the cost, I recommend it for the occasional diyer

Great stud finder
Bought this to put up the wall mount for our new flat screen tv. It worked great. We could tell exactly where the stud edges were and where to drill the pilot holes. The sensor was spot on.

Sleek and Accurate
Regardless of what all the reviews say, this little thing does work. When was cutting out drywall around an indoor Jacuzzi tub a customer of mine had one of these and she let me try it out for the job. Single and double studs (below a window) were easy to find and mark. After cutting the 1 ft. x 3 ft. panel out it was easy see how truly accurate this stud finder was. It seems that this tool needs a brand new 9v battery to be accurate and the tool was handed over to me in such a condition. For me this tool=Money in the Bank
