Merc London Mens Retro Harrington Jacket

I usually wear a 2X, so I ordered this in a 3X to give me room to wear over a sweater or something. The 3XL was slightly tight when wearing over a t-shirt and barely came to my belly button. No raising your arms while wearing this jacket! It was so absurdly small for a 3X that I checked the tag to see if I was sent the wrong size... nope! I'm very disappointed in the sizing because it is a beautiful jacket otherwise!

Merc makes a very sharp, smart Baracuta- / Harrington-style jacket like they used to wear back in the '60s and '70s. Order a size larger for proper fit. Cheers to all the mods who were down from day one!

Love the fit. After reading other reviews regarding sizes too small/big, I went to the Merc website where they sell the same product and include a sizing guide. Take the extra time and get your measurements from the guide then order your perfect size! It’s a great weight for spring/fall/cool summer nights. Love the classic style. Seems really well made.

I ordered a merc jacket and got a knock off. Very displeased. Not even a merc tag on it. Seems like I got hit with the bait and switch. Very upset. Was looking so forward to a good merc jacket. Buyer beware!

Great jacket, thicker than expected but really nice quality, I ordered I size bigger, usually wear a large but based upon the other reviews which said order a size larger I ordered an XL it fits perfectly, highly impressed would buy another maybe in blue!

I read other reviews and ended up buying a large despite the fact that I often wear Medium jackets. The jacket fits great and feels high quality.

Great jacket. I’m very happy with it.I’ve seen some posts on sizing and it depends on how you like your coats to fit. If you like a lose fit order 1 size up but if you like an exact fit order the size you wear.I wear a large and for this style of jacket I would prefer it to fit.My Winter coats I prefer a size up for layering clothes I wear underneath.I’m very happy with this jacket.

Bought this as gift for my husband and, per reviews, ordered one size up. Ordered yesterday, and arrived today (!) via Fed-Ex. Very handsome, quality jacket, with wonderful tartan plaid lining. Of such excellent quality, husband and I will purchase another jacket for our son.
