Used this on my clogged sink and it actually worked, but I noticed it does a lot better if you chase it with hot water. Took a little time, not instant, but the drain finally cleared up. Strong stuff, so I was careful using it.

Wow! This drain cleaner is fabulous!! It reminds me of the old fashioned Drano with granules although it isn't nearly so strong. When I think of all the $$$ I have wasted on ALL of the name brand products with unsatisfactory results, I am so happy to find this as I had just about given up. It did take a couple of times on 2 very clogged sinks but it did work.

This product is great, it work on the first try. I have tried a few products to unclog my bathroom sink, and they did not work. This work wonders, unclog my sink in about 15 minutes. I put the product in the sink, waited and pour hot boiling water in the sink after 15 minutes. I came back and the sink was unclog.

This works great ... I mainly use it for bad bad bad rusted Cast iron skillets that I buy (cheap).. I get a heavy duty plastic square container that will hold several skillets and then I put hot water in it and then pour this in second (make sure you pour this in the water secondly) and mix it up with a wooden stick easily and then place your skillets in the container and check them in 24 hours, if not ready then, I place them back in the solution for another 24 hours . Again, that's if they are badly coroded and rusted and then using gloves the entire time, I scrub them down with my cast iron brush I got on Amazon (gotta love Amazon) and clean them up, wash them again and season them in the oven. I haven't used it in a clogged drain as of yet but my neighbor had and she swears by this stuff. WEAR GLOVES AND EYE WEAR ALWAYS WHEN MESSING WITH THIS STUFF!! It works! I rarely give ratings, but I have a sink that my wife uses that’s constantly draining slow and getting stopped up her hair. Gallons and gallons of liquid plumber over the years barely made a dent in the water flow I tried it with a sink dry and with water in the sink but 2 tablespoons of this and some hot water had the sink working like new in 15 minutes with complete water flow not just an improvement.

My bathroom sink has been clogged since March 2020. With fears of coming in contact with anyone with COVID-19, I refused to call a plumber. I tried the baking soda and vinegar method but of course that didn’t work at all. We had to keep using the tub to wash our hands, so inconvenient. I came across this by accident and I’m so happy for it. When it arrived, I read the instructions and it seemed easy enough for me to do it. I poured in a heaping tablespoon of the powder, then a cup of cold water and covered it with a bowl. The bottle said there might be some splash back, there wasn’t. I figured it didn’t work. It didn’t, my sink was still clogged. I tried all the steps again and still no splash back. Convinced that I wasted my money, I went about my day. When I remembered about it a few hours later I was shocked! My sink was unclogged! I tried it a few times just to make sure I wasn’t wrong. I wasn’t, it actually did work! It’s September 2020 btw, hence my excitement! 😂Update 11/06/20..My sink has been clogged for over a month again. I’ve tried at least once a week to unclog it with this lye and no luck. I don’t use the sink for anything other than to wash hands and brush our teeth, nothing major. This lye must’ve lost its affect because there’s no change whatsoever. I’m disappointed!
