If, like me, you live on a farm and are constantly trailing in mud mixed with pet hair, this will NOT be your go-to vacuum cleaner. It doesn't do a "deep" clean. What it does do, and rather nicely, thank you, is clean up crumbs and day to day stuff. I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of stuff it does get up, but it will definitely not replace your full size vac unless you are a pet-free city dweller. The biggest disappointment to me was that after reading how well it did walls, edges and corners, I can't say it did a bang-up job on mine. It is very good at navigating, though, and I'm surprised the amount of stuff it will climb over - say, going from carpet to hardwood flooring. None of that is really a problem. I mostly bought it as an experiment because the price was right, and I can definitely see using it again but it won't ever replace a stronger vacuum, for me. I'll be interested to see how long it lasts (have had for 3 days). Whether I would buy another in my circumstances is an open question but I lean towards no.Update: well, believe it or not, I'm headed into year FOUR on this thing and it hasn't let me down yet! I don't use it often but it has to work hard when I do use it. I think the trick to longevity is to clean it every time you use it. I'm amazed and impressed that it has lasted this long and still works! Changing my 4* to 5* simply due to longevity v. price. It was a steal.

What a great job it did on my laminate floors... did the edges, too. I like the remote as I can manually control its directions. It ran all over the place (living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, master bedroom (burber carpet).I have a dog and she does not wipe her feet. Oh my! The dirt container is not the easiest to clean out all the left over little rocks left after the bulk of the debris is removed.Overall, super pleased ... great price ($199) ... took only two days from ship to arrival. Awesome customer service.

This cleans a flat floor (tile, wood) fine. But an area rug in the middle of the flat floor stops it cold. It will not traverse the edge of the rug. Its odd that it will traverse a wood floor to,tile strip, but wont traverse an area rug binding. In fact. If placed on an area rug that has ridges, it will not clean it. It moves an inch or so and retrains its motion. In other words, it just spins around without moving forward.

The media could not be loaded.  Ok this product has a big issue. I will not work on low pile carpets that have any dark colors in them or have a dark edge. It looks like the sensors think its a ledge of some kind and will not cross it, If you put the Opodee in the middle of this carpet carpet it will not cross any dark line and will say the wheels are in the air eventually it will shut down. I have 2 other Robots and they both work on the same carpets with out any issues. I have in formed opodee of this problem with videos and this is there response so far (((Our Robot vacuums use on low-pile carpet, tile, laminate, and hardwood floors. Not suitable for high-pile carpet or very dark-colored floors.This is a common issue on most vacuum cleaner in the market. Our team engeneer is currently working hard to resolve this issue. We will keep our customer posted on the progress.)))I am still waiting to see what they can or will do for me. I will contact amazon for a return if i keep getting the run around. (i need something that works now)

I have a 3-bedroom home with two Weimaraner pooches, so... lots of short hair everywhere as well as dirt tracked in from the back yard through the Dog-door. I have tile floors throughout and have to vacuum every couple of days. When I get busy, I'm not able to and the hair just accumulates (yuck). I figured I'd try a robo-vac but didn't want to spend a lot of money, just to find out it wouldn't be suitable for my household, so I came across this one (less expensive, entry-level unit). I LOVE it and all the work is saves me. Well-Worth-The-Price, and then some. In fact, I think I'm totally SOLD on the concept and will be buying a more "advanced" one in the not-too-distant future. Is it perfect?....No…. but for the price, it is certainly well worth it! For now, I love my E31 and how it makes my life SO much easier and the time it saves me! Some days, after work I’m just so exhausted that the last thing I want to do is vacuum the house. I also had the need for brief contact with their customer service and was pleased with the level of service and timeliness. I didn’t like that I could not speak to anyone on the phone and was only given the option of email, BUT their response was VERY FAST. Thanks OPODEE!

I am just learning how to use this machine. It does everything the description claims. It picked up a LOT of Irish setter hair. The dirt container holds a lot more than I thought it would. I turned the robot over, and hair was twisted all around the brushes and caught in the roller. It took me a while to get all that cleaned off. It is really good at cleaning the toe space under the cabinets. It is fun to watch. I have to hold onto the dog because he wants to attack it. It would be better if I didn't have so many chairs or if I had a short haired dog. It talks, but I have a hearing problem.
