good controller except no amiibo reader
Just to compare, i do have a nintendo pro controller which works great, i use that with my oled switch, but since i have already installed most of my games on my original switch, i bought this controller for that. What i did was buy a generic black pro controller clone, but not sure if it's the internal battery, but after it pairs, only about 30 minutes playing and it loses it's connection which i think is because the battery is starting to lose it's strength. This controller is a licensed product, so you can tell when you get it that the quality looks great. This clear one especially looks good with the adjustable led lights/colors ;or just leave it to fade in and out of different colors. It is pretty bright, but i dont mind it at all. At th;e USB plug, there is a button that lets you pair easily. Once the controller is registered to the switch, it usually can connect with just alternating pressing the top right and top left trigger ;buttons like you would with a normal pro controller. Home button and +- works the same and the joysticks feel good and did not drift or anything weird like maybe some cheaper controllers ;might do. There is a sequence you can do to recalibrate all the controls so that's pretty good if it ever does drift. It comes with a normal USB rectangular end plug to usb-c for the controller side. Th4 instructions inside only has a QR code to look up the instructions but you dont really need them as you just need to put your switch on that page which shows paired controllers and press that pairing button, then press the l/r buttons to pair. You can tell when the controller is paired as the leds come on when it's paired and stays dark if not. Anyways, it's a solid controller for slightly lmore then half the price of a real pro controller, totally worth it. If i run into qny trouble will post here but so far it's been a great controller.Update: i ran into one problem lol, it doesn't read NFC, so no amiibo's for like totk or echoes of wisdom, too bad, or this would be a perfect controller.

Love this!
Just as good as a Nintendo brand Pro Controller but looks better and for less money. Works well. It's got extra buttons built into the backs of the hand grips. When plugged in the LEDs "breathe" red when charging, green when fully charged. Battery life is great.

Works great! And not too spendy
We like this controller its affordable compared to the others and it works just as well. Im glas we decided to get this one for Mario kart and a couple other games with motion! It makes it so much fun. We need a couple more for the rest of the family. Definitely planning on purchasing again

A reliable option.
I've had the controller for a while now and bit the bullet on getting a second one only recently. The first controller I got is great and works really well. The button mapping and color choice work great and I can customize it easy. Personally, I have the back buttons not mapped and the LED lights off to keep it simple. The buttons feel nice to press and the shell of the the controller feels smooth and cool to hold. While the control stick does work as expected, it's not immune to the infamous stick drift. My first controller does occasionally drift to the left, but it's usually not noticeable, is infrequent, and doesn't move enough to select something else in game at this time. The website manual does offer a solution for drift, it looks like.Generally, it's a great controller to have if you don't need rumble or Amiibo support. In my experience, it's been reliable for everytime I've needed it. It can handle intense gaming sessions well enough like with friends and family during a session of Super Smash Bros. or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. If I had to nitpick the negatives of the controller, it's the quality assurance. There were many negative reviews when I got this controller make over a year ago and I still got the controller as a blind purchase. I lucked out one the first one as it virtually has none of the mentioned problems aside from the ministick drift, and I've got the same expectations for the second controller. The second controller's LEDs, however, flicker while the LEDs are supposed to be set to off. I hope it's not a tell tale sign. The controller still works as intended, thankfully.I really do like the controller and it seems to fare well! I hope I'm able to use these controllers for a long time and they don't give out too soon.

Finally, A Good Non-Nintendo Controller
I have an official Tears of the Kingdom controller. But because it is an exclusive sold-out item, I didn’t want to wear it down til it broke so I looked for a secondary controller to offset my hours of use.I went through many, many different controllers from different brands. Some didn’t have gyro, some just didn’t work properly, and some had too much lag for a game these requires precision at times. But I finally found the perfect cool looking controller that works like the real Pro controller! This controller lights up with four different color options, and four different ways to display those colors. I choose the specific green/blue color of Link’s arm when it glows in ‘Tears of the Kingdom’ so I was more immersed in the game. I chose the “breathing color” mode so I don’t get too distracted by the lights but still felt like it had some life to it.Overall, this is wireless, it glows, it has gyro, and it works without lag! Everything you need to have fun gaming. Recommended.

Good Buy
Well worth the money! I originally bought an off brand remote but it was very difficult to connect. This one is very easy to connect to the switch even if going from the regular remotes to this one. All the buttons work great, the battery lasts for a long time, and the lights look great.
