Solidly built Carb Sync Tool
Used this items to sync the "starter valves" on the throttle body for my Honda ST1300. Worked well for that purpose, as they had not been adjusted for over 70,000 miles. Now my bike idles much smoother. Another upside is that I can use it on my carbureted bikes. I like the fact that the gauges have a solid feel and adjust easily. The included vacuum hoses are a reasonable length, which made this kit easy to use. It also comes complete with several adapters for various makes of carbs. FYI, the inner diameter of the included hose appears to be 5mm, so I could not use the included adapters. Instead, I had to purchase a separate set of hose barbs to connect to the unit to the throttle body hoses for a leak-free connection. I don't fault the manufacturer of seller for this, as it's nearly impossible to sell a product that will fit every application. I am hopeful that this gauge set will continue to serve me well into the future.

PERFECT
I had a 1982 Honda CB900 F Series Super Sport in mint condition. The owner of Apache Honda in Phoenix and his mechanics, took superb care of this classic. Before he died he told me he was going to increase its performance significantly. $3000 worth of parts later the only bike to outrun me was a 1200 Ducati. A short while later I became too disabled to ride and gave the bike to my son. He had grown up with it. His wife wouldn't allow him to ride it for the next 10 years while their kids grew up significantly. Now he's trying to get it on the rode again. The Honda/Harley mechanic has taken the engine apart and done of the necessary work but insists that nobody works on carburetors anymore, especially four that need a manometer to sync them. He said he looked everywhere for a manometer without success. I found manometers everywhere I looked and YOUTUBE videos on how to use them. Now, I needed to find the right manometer. It had to the most accurate, most highly recommended, and easy to use. This ALPHA MOTO system reigned supreme! The bike runs great!

High Quality, Great Finish
These gauges are quite nice, but there are some draw backs to them. As mentioned by others, you can not calibrate these gauges, and along with that, there is no documentation with these gauges. I tested all four gauges before I placed them into service. One gauge was off, unfortunately. It was a substantial amount, but it was enough to obscure accuracy by about 5% at 25mmHG. When operating these gauges, tightening the collar will indeed reduce fluttering, and loosening them will allow more of a fluctuation in range. Now, when I first began using these gauges in service, the valve was so loose on one, that it came undone. It came undone since I loosened the valve, since the gauges were not reading very well. Funny thing is, if it is too loose (the valve), it won't flutter at all, making you believe that it is too tight. Aside from this, any sort of documentation for genuineness, or customer support, and etc, would have made this product much better. But all in all, the quality, the smoothness and fine grain control once you dial the gauge valves in, is superior to cheaper products. The supplied fittings are also of high quality, and they will most certainly last through prolonged use. I am just worried about future issues and not having any paperwork so I could contact the company if any problems should arise.

Very accurate high quality gauges.
Very complete and high quality kit. Paying a little more for a kit of this quality is a smart move. Loved the built-in snubbers, they smoothed out gage fluctuations wonderfully. This set will provide years of service. Highly recommend avoid buying these rather than the cheaply made sets.

You can adjust to stablize the needles. Good variety of fittings.
I've used tube type manometers before which can be somewhat clumsy because they need to be held vertically and there's a chance you could suck fluid into your intakes. I bought these because they had the feature to allow you to dial down the needle movement to stabilize the reading. And yes, it actually does work. It comes with a variety of tubing and intake fittings which should allow you to use these gauges on almost any common motorcycle. I used them last on a 70's Honda CB 550.

Highly impressed
The whole kit is put together very nicely. The adapters thread well, appeared to seal nicely, and the gauges were very clear to read. Synced a CX500 and CB650SC and both ran significantly smoother, so I would assume the gauges are quite accurate. I don't have another set to compare too, but there's no reason to spend more than this kit.

We bought this one and the lower cost model to see which would be better. This unit is better built is better valves and more components for adjustability. The gauges are smaller than the lower cost ones and can be only used for vacuum. They are very well built. If you're using these gauges everyday this is a great purchase. If you're using them once every year or two by the less expensive ones they work just as well. We know, because we bought both and the staff like using the lower priced ones with the bigger dials that can also be used to test fuel pump pressure. These gauges are excellent and they're worthy of a buy but we felt were slightly pricey!
