The initial order I received was damaged through shipping. No matter what I could not calibrate the pen within an acceptable margin. I then replaced the item.I took my time properly calibrating the second pen and almost dead accurate each PH reading. So far I have been using the pen multiple times each day for the last month with no problems what-so-ever. I am very happy with this product.

We got it calibrated and were excited to do some readings on our drinking water and other things. That was great. But then the next time we went to use it, it gave meaningless readings, like pH = 6783. So we tried to recalibrate it, but the recalibration process didn't work at all. It is too late to return it, so we will try another brand.=======Update 2/13/2020 - It turns out the batteries were corroded. So it's not a defective product, it's just that they shipped it with old batteries. So I have upgraded from 1 star to 2 stars.

I have been using this for a bit now and it works pretty well and for the price I can't complain. When I did the calibration I was able to see that my unit came calibrated for the most part so that's cool. I'm using it for plant water. Comes with a nifty plastic case for storage.

I wanted a quicker and easier way to check the PH in our hot tub and this is it. Very quick to sample and much more accurate than trying to color match the strips if the light isn't just right. Removes all doubt as to the exact PH level so that it can be maintained at the proper level. Very pleased with the performance of this product and was pleasantly surprised at the low cost. These should be sold with every pool and hot tub!

This does not deserve even a single star. It did not work. Paper said it had one year warranty. Seller did not honor warranty. Amazon allowed me to return it but charged a restocking fee.This is an absolute piece of junk, and the seller did not honor the warranty.

Worked great for awhile. I used it almost daily for 2 months and then became uncalibrated randomly after proper care. The sensor seems to have become faulty as the device no longer will calibrate to higher alkaline base ph buffer.

Bought it for my brother in law for his find pond and he quite liked it.Easy to understand, easy to use and accurate.

Just calibrated it today, was easy and seems to work great
