Works well for twisting locs initially. It had my locs looks real snatched up! However on the downside, I can see why they might say it has no buildup. No build up is the dream for locs! However Your scalp melts the product. I don’t like that it melts so easily. My hair looked so nice as I used this to do my hair for a wedding. Then later into the wedding I noticed the product had melted onto my neck and forehead. Left me looking kind of greasy there lol. I wish I would’ve known ahead of time as I thought it would’ve held for longer. I mean don’t get me wrong I like this product however I wouldn’t use it when it’s hot outside. Lol. At least it doesn’t leave white buildup residue. That’s a good thing. But yeah. That’s my experience. I think if I were in ac all day this product would be perfect.🚨UPDATE:🚨So here’s my updated and final review of this product. I have now completed the usage of the entire item. I would buy this for styling my locs but it wouldn’t be my first choice. HOWEVER, I would totally buy this for braiding hair!! I braided both of my daughters hairs in individual braids and this worked like a wonder! The melting no residue feature definitely works in our favor using it I. That manor! Also I tried the green jar and black loctician ones. The green jar one is waaaay thicker. The loctician black jar melts too quickly and didn’t lay my 3c 4a hair down. Took a lot of product to make it work. However again for braids it might work for what you’re doing.I’d recommend using this product for braiding. I would NOT recommend this product for locs. There are definitely better products out there.

Grip and hold to the GAWDS!! Hold so good it will snatch your lashes, eyebrows and yah edges all at the same time 🤣😂. I purchase two at time. You won’t be disappointed.

I mean it works but my neck and shoulders broke out so bad I had to wash out my fresh retwist the next dayI do not have sensitive skin at all so buyer beware

Great Great Great Product. I use this product for locks and retwist for 4c natural hair and it is completely perfect. I've been looking for a product like this for a long time. It takes so much time off the process I love it I can't say enough about it. You would love it if you purchased it.

This product was OK, it’s very expensive and Ive definitely came across better.

great for locs and braiding styles but leaves a film behind.. very greasy..
