High quality water filter!. I have been using this brand of filter for years and they work very well and hold up great. The design allows particles to be trapped while still allowing good water flow through them. I changed over from the 25 micron to this 5 micron to get better filtration. It states the water flow is the same, 20 gpm. Once I replace my old 25 micron filter, I'll see if the flow rate remains the same or not with the micron filtration difference. It will be an interesting comparison and I'll see if I can update this review after a few months of use.

Have been using these filters for years. They work just fine. Arrive quickly after ordering. Good product.

I used this filter for 7 months in my AP801 housing. A small piece of the filter started flaking off as I was pulling it out of the housing to replace it. It goes to show that you are taking your chances if you leave this filter in the housing for longer than recommended. The filter was discolored from the sediment that it had filtered since it was installed. It's a good filter, but I didn't reorder it as it is pricey. KleenWater makes a comparable filter for about half the price. Also, this item doesn't even include an o-ring like some of the other filter replacement options from other brands.

A decent filter that does what it is supposed to do. Need to replace cartridge a little bit more often than suggested, but these stop debris from getting into the drinking water, so these are well worth the extra changes. Drinking water remains crystal clear. Love it.

Received my replacement cartridge within 24hrs when several neighborhood suppliers stated they were unable to receive them due to shipping issues.

We installed our whole house water softener and filter system a little over 2 years ago now, and we've been using this brand ever since. It was recommended to us by the plumber, and we have not had any problems. No broken filters, no premature failures, and we only replace them once every 6 months (2 people in house).

I had bad experience buying OEM filters like Aquacrest or waterdrops which are 1/3 cost of 3M filters, but they really don't work well as I see some sediments leaks. Tried 3M fits well to my AP810T 3M water filer and filters crystal clear. This filter also very durable and goes till 6 months. Don't waste money on OEM filters but go for original 3M and it's worth to pay little more for clear water which is essential for life. $40 for 6 months is not a big amount
