LOVE it! I actually bought it for my new chicken coop that has a 30"+ window that's west facing, so I needed shade (as well as stopping rain getting in) and still being able to keep the window open.My hubby cut it down to fit very easily. I was surprised at how lightweight it was coming out of the box and shocked at how strong it was once it was put up. It took two of us to actually fit it. I highly recommend it; although we haven't been through the wind, rain and snow storms yet so can't comment on that. I originally bought it because of shade and rain protection, and it's doing the job! Looks great on our new coop build.

Product is good, very light weight, but good. Instruction sheet is very minimal missing drill hole size but I figured it out. I suggest having two people for the install although light it's hard to install with just one person.

All of this is plastic, with some thin aluminum supports. I ordered the “double version” which is two awnings with one central support. It was miserable to put together and sags under its own weight. I live in New Orleans, this thing isn’t going to last one hurricane season. Total waste of money and they won’t return it. If you need a larger, sturdy awning, this ISN’T it. Save yourself disappointment.

Great little roof if you are trying to keep the rain away from your door. We got a clear version. Brackets are very sturdy. Plastic could be a bit more thick and sturdier. So far, so good. Product arrived earlier than promised.

Good looking window awning. I purchased a 3 panel (118") and another single panel that when combined, made a 156" window awning. It was the perfect size for my dining room window that faces south. I live in the Pacific Northwest and have summer sun, winter snow, and rain.Installation was kind of difficult. Since I have several of these [type] of awnings, I was familiar with them. The largest I had installed prior to this was a 2 panel.After attempting several methods, I finally put all 4 panels together on the ground, then used some 1X2's to secure them together by screwing them to the brackets. This allowed my son and I to then lift them into position and put the mounting screws in.Pros: Looks good. Light weight. Typically easy to install. My other awnings have held 12" of snow.Cons: Each panel uses 2 pieces of polycarbonate material. This is inherently less rigid than the single piece design. Therefore not as strong. And it has the potential to leak at the seam. I would buy the single piece design next time.Greg

Assembly is much easier if you attach one flat metal guide to one awning support frame first with supplied screw then attach assembled awning roof in the guide slot then attach the final rounded edge metal piece with supplied screw. Attach the second support frame starting with the metal flat piece and attach with supplied screw and then final up the final assembly. Very important to get the awning in the guide slot on framing sludge.

Outstanding product and great price.Installed on back doors of a rental duplexUnit. Plan to use on another project soon.Very pleased.
