Great Stove. My Choice.
The stainless steel model weighs two pounds. It’s compactness makes that feel heavier. Go weigh other stoves with canned or bottled fuel and two pounds isn’t as heavy as it seems on first heft. Go titanium if the weight is going to keep you from considering the stove. Or look at the Nano.I have one of each and a Solo Titan. Like the Titan, but use the Firebox. Flat packing vice titan big canister shape. Ability to handle small to large vessels vice Titan’s three small rests that won’t hold a cup or bottle. Feed-ability goes to Firebox. Temperature control to Firebox. Titan starts quicker and burns hotter. Firebox starts fine and burns fine and will throw more heat laterally, if you want a warming fire.Sturdy. Easy. Nearly unlimited configurability. The simple addition of firesticks makes it a standout. Every detail has been thought-out and tested.Compared to other flat stoves? They all share the virtues above. Firebox simply has more of each. See YouTube ‘Mark Young’ for good field tests of Firebox and competitors. I chose Firebox and have no regrets.

Well worth the money.
This thing is built like a tank. Should last for a lifetime if it’s taken care of.

Super impressed!
I have quite a few camping stoves and folding stoves and this by far is the best I've used. It is a little heavy, but that is ok, for my use. Wood burns very hot and feeding in the branches works really well because you feed them in different slots and they criss criss nicely allowing for good air flow.If the weight is an issue, they do have a lighter, titanium version.Very happy with my purchase!

Durable and convenient product. If I somehow lost it, I'd buy another...
I've had mine for over 3 years and have used it MANY times. It has held up well. Very minor warping, but the top grates will still snap into place with a little assistance using the "fire sticks". It still folds and stores easily.Discoloration is normal, and to be expected - and gives it "character".I wish the titanium version was still available, because I would pay good money to knock off several ounces of weight.

Number one packable stove out there.
Love this stove. It is everything I had heard. Supper easy to assemble and use with its options. Effecient in use, low fuel use and plenty of heat output.I was surprised a little at its weight. I also use a Solo Stove or a MSR Pocket Rocket/cannister system for camping use. This functions equally well. I will say that the weight difference is such that I will likely use this in more stationary camping situations, other than backpacking, to save weight. They do make a lighter weight Nano version that would be better for backpacking.I am extremely happy with the stove. at first glance all the moving parts might be daunting, but relax, this baby is all very simple in use.
